PSA: if you used to use Twitter (or any social media, for that matter) and you stopped, leaving your account inactive, take a moment to log in and delete the account.

One of the tools that spreaders of misinformation will use is to hack & hijack inactive accounts, which makes it less obvious that they are bots (one of the telltale signs of bot activity is when a lot of new accounts are spreading the same misinformation, so by taking over old accounts, it makes them harder to detect).

My personal Twitter account (not the Viced Rhino one), which I haven't logged into since 2017, got hacked last night. Thankfully I was able to recover it before they changed the email address, and have now deleted it, but if I hadn't noticed, it could now be spreading lies in my name.
