The difference between AWD that works and AWD that actually performs comes down to the differential.

The Blacksite Motorsports LLC RTAWD Torsen LSD is built for CR V, Element, and Crosstour platforms to eliminate wasted power and turn traction into real performance. Using a true gear driven torque sensing design, it instantly sends power to the wheel with grip, delivering smoother launches, stronger corner exits, and consistent control under load.

Engineered around a 25-spline wagon axle setup with a fully forged Torsen body and gear set, this is one of the strongest and most durable LSD options available. It is designed to outperform OEM solutions while supporting both standard and custom builds.

This same LSD design has already been proven in extreme conditions. Tested by Wanted Performance in their 1600HP K series Civic, it has gone 7.67 in the quarter mile, demonstrating real world strength and reliability at the highest level.

Compatible with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen RTAWD differentials, this is what completes an AWD build and makes it perform the way it should.

Engineered for real traction

Inside the Blacksite Motorsports RTAWD CR-V Viscous Coupler.

This is the RTAWD Internal Hydraulic Viscous Coupler, a fluid-filled hydraulic damper designed to manage torque transfer between front and rear under load.

This coupler uses shear load of viscous fluid to engage power transfer to the rear, instead of the OEM clutch design that relies on wheel speed variance between front and rear to hydraulically engage clutches. This creates smooth and consistent power transfer from the transfer case to the rear differential to the rear wheels.

Nothing By Chance.

Follow to learn what really happens inside the Blacksite Motorsports RTAWD system.

Honda Dual Pump AWD System Explained

Most people see the Honda Dual Pump Assembly as just another part. At Blacksite Motorsports, we see it for what it really is. An advanced torque management system that was ahead of its time.

Inside this system, primary and secondary oil pumps work together to generate pressure from wheel speed differences driving a piston that applies load to the clutch pack and transfers power to the rear.

We adapted this pump for motorsports with refined internal changes and shimming strategies to control pump pressure. The primary pump housing acts as a pressure differential system balancing output from both pump gears to force pressure build up and engage the dual pump piston which then applies the clutches and sends power through the carrier to the rear wheels.

Every component from the gears to the housings to the sealing surfaces plays a role in how that power is delivered. This is where real engineering happens and where performance is either gained or lost.

This design builds on our previous innovations refining how these systems operate under load to deliver more consistent and controlled AWD performance.

Nothing By Chance.

This isn’t just a viscous coupler it’s a complete AWD solution.

Our RT4WD Billet Viscous Coupler has been proven across both Honda and Mitsubishi AWD platforms delivering controlled power transfer where it actually matters.

Everything you see comes in the box. 79 viscous plates, 38 centering rings, coupler shaft, CV joint delete, carrier bearings and mounts, and no cut flanges designed to accept our 1310 billet driveshaft system. Built using OEM bearings and snap rings just like the factory intended.

This is how you take an OEM concept and evolve it into something capable of real performance without compromise.

Nothing By Chance.

Follow to see how far AWD can really go.

Over the past few weeks, many people—both domestic and international—have reached out to me regarding Mohd Shah from the harness shop, sharing concerns about unfulfilled orders and lost communication.

I want to offer some context. I was recently in contact with him, and without sharing personal details, he experienced a catastrophic life event that left him temporarily unable to operate his business, ultimately forcing it to close. He is actively working through refunds as quickly as possible and has taken on local work to generate funds to make customers whole. While progress may feel slow, he has not disappeared and intends to return when he is physically and mentally able.

I don’t have visibility into timelines or individual cases. My goal is not to excuse what happened, but to provide perspective. I’ve personally faced situations where external pressures nearly shut down my own business. Growth under limited resources can compound quickly, and a single setback can become overwhelming.

I do not condone the outcome, but I believe there was no malicious intent. What matters now is accountability and the genuine effort being made to correct what went wrong. I’ll remain in contact with him—not as a go-between—but to support his recovery and responsible re-entry into the market.

Economic pressures also contributed to the situation, and when combined with personal hardship, led to the closure. I hope this brings clarity and encourages understanding. Accountability and empathy can—and should—coexist. Small businesses are built by people, for communities, everywhere. I stand by him and will support #theharnessshop as it rebuilds.

If you think this is weird, you don’t know me very well… 👀 V-2 Elite AWD System (DC2 / EG)

Not the strangest thing you’ll ever see hanging from a ceiling in someone’s shop—but definitely one of the more interesting ones.

This is a first look / early preview of the V-2 Elite all-wheel-drive system, currently configured to run CR-V, Element, or Accord Crosstour rear differentials, with DC2 and EG chassis fitment in mind.

A few highlights shown in the video:

Purpose-built AWD system, not a hacked-together conversion

Designed around readily available Honda rear diffs (CR-V / Element / Crosstour)

Clean packaging for DC2 & EG platforms

Built with real-world serviceability and performance in mind

This isn’t a concept render or a “one-day” idea—it’s real hardware, and it’s moving forward fast.

If this looks strange to you… fair.
If it looks exciting, we’re probably on the same wavelength.

I’ll be posting more updates as things progress—development details, fitment info, and testing as it happens.

Questions, thoughts, criticism welcome.
And if you want to see where this goes next, follow along

I understand there may be some disappointment that I am unable to share my scan of the RHD Integra Type R. This project has required extensive planning and a significant investment of time, including disassembling the car specifically for this purpose. Given the effort involved, I do not believe it would be cost-effective to distribute the results of my hard work. My primary goal is not to sell anything, but rather to showcase the technology, design process, and development behind this project—essentially documenting the journey of creating and integrating high-performance parts to reimagine this vehicle.

At this stage, the scan is far from complete, and the amount of time invested thus far makes it impractical to share or sell it. My intention is to provide transparency for those interested in the engineering process, particularly friends and followers on Reddit who want to track the project’s progression. I share updates to illustrate the process of designing and building a more advanced, high-performance chassis with the specific features I envision for the car.

While I am happy to offer support and advice to others embarking on similar projects, I am unable to give away the scan itself. This is the reality of thoroughly planning, redesigning, and rebuilding my RHD Integra Type R. Your support is appreciated, but never required—feel free to follow along as I continue to document this journey. Stay tuned for updates on the cage installation and more. I have been shamed, threatened, and even belittled because I won't give away what I worked hard for. If that is what it takes to be accepted here in this community, “I'm good.” I just want to show others what I am doing without having my work compromised by someone trying to take credit for my work and determination. Can I “LIVE?” I'm just a guy like you all, trying to build a car. This isn't a for-sale post, bragging post, or anything like it. Just a guy building a car using engineering practices, following aerospace standards. Using the 30 years of Aerospace Engineering experience to build my car the way I have wanted to for years. I'm proud to share my passion with you all, and the process, as I said. I'm proud of the work I am doing because I waited a long time to be in the position to do this. Just finally made it.
