‘Live at Lichtburg’ is a night we won’t forget anytime soon. We were on site in Essen to capture Long Distance Calling’s sold-out show at the historic Lichtburg cinema. In front of 1.200 fans, the band delivered an incredible performance featuring songs from ‘Eraser’ and ‘Avoid The Light’.
This show was one of our many live highlights of 2024 – which makes it even better that we can now revisit that night as many times as we want. ‘Live at Lichtburg’ is out now.
Newly re-mastered and available on vinyl for the first time: Thunder Online – ‘Live’! A monumental Thunder live album, featuring Daniel Bowes, Luke Morley, Ben Matthews, Chris Childs, and Gary ‘Harry’ James.
‘Live’ will be available digitally on January 16th, as a 2CD and 3LP Gatefold edition, as well as in limited versions that include additional acoustic and demo recordings: the limited 3CD (incl. bonus tracks) and the limited 4LP (incl. bonus tracks). This live album has it all, whether you’re a long-term fan of the band or new to their music, and it’s an absolute joy to listen to.
The first single and video will already be out on Friday.
To quote Steve Hogarth speaking about an English saying: “When in Rome…find yourself an amazing Italian band and gig with them.”
Said and done – Steve Hogarth played a local show in Rome at Sala Sinopoli, joined by the Italian band RanestRane and the Flowing Chords choir. This extraordinary night will be released as a new album on January 16th, titled ‘SPQR – Live From Sala Sinopoli, Roma, II.III.MMXXIV.’
Though the concert has already earned its place in Rome’s musical history, listening to the album or watching the accompanying concert film evokes the vivid sense of being there. With his emotive voice, expressive delivery, and intimate piano playing, Hogarth creates a deeply personal atmosphere.
Look forward to fantastic live versions of ‘Thank You Whoever You Are’, ‘Go!’ and ‘Estonia’, as well as magnificent renditions of The Beatles’ ‘All You Need Is Love’.
The first single, a wonderful take on Leonard Cohen’s ‘Famous Blue Raincoat’, is already out now.
"Hello cruel world / I'm not going away / So I might as well have my say."
Grammy-winning artist Joe Jackson returns with his first new studio album in seven years, titled ‘Hope and Fury’. The record reflects the emotional, social, and political paradox so many of us seem to be caught up in these days. It thrives on contrasts, polar opposites and the in-between – wrapped in lyrical wit, sharp sarcasm, irony and clever observations.
Jackson himself sums it up neatly, describing himself and his work as ‘bicoastal’ – both geographically and musically. Or, to be more precise: Bicoastal LatinJazzFunkRock.
From Berlin to New York – ‘Hope and Fury’ took shape between two worlds. Joe Jackson teamed up again with Patrick Dillett and his trusted crew Graham Maby (Joe's bassist since Look Sharp!), Teddy Kumpel, Doug Yowell and special guest, Grammy-winning percussionist Paulo Stagnaro. And soon, he’s taking Hope and Fury out into the world: a North American tour in spring and summer 2026, followed by Europe from September through December, 80 shows across 14 countries.
Now, if you look closely, the album artwork already gives a taste of what’s inside: somewhere in the distance, a public building is quietly burning. So, what do we do, here, now? An answer, it seems, can be found in new music – stay tuned.
We’re sure some of you have already spotted the first hints online over the past few weeks on Myrath’s official channels… The wait for new music is finally over!
Myrath are back. The new single, ‘Until The End’ featuring the incredible Elize Ryd, is dark, vulnerable, almost cinematic and insanely catchy.
The track is taken from Myrath's upcoming album ‘Wilderness of Mirrors’, marking the beginning of a new musical era for the band – which they’ll bring to life on stage across 16 countries during their European tour starting in April 2026
We can’t wait for you to hear more. Stay tuned.
‘Wilderness of Mirrors’ will be out on March 27th 2026.
Exactly one year ago, Duff McKagan hit the road with his band for a major tour. The show in London was recorded and filmed, and now you can experience it in full: ‘Lighthouse: Live from London’ is out now!
The camera stays close to the action, the crowd is roaringly loud, the sound is crystal clear, and the picture is high definition. Duff’s charisma lights up the stage, and you can feel how much fun both the band and the audience were having.
Now available to stream or download, or on CD + Blu-ray for your collection. Expect songs from his latest solo record, fan favourites from across his career, and killer covers of The Stooges, David Bowie, and Guns N’ Roses, plus a special guest appearance by Steve Jones (Sex Pistols).
Duff McKagan is also launching a charity auction in support of Toys for Tots and MusiCares – more info in the comments.
Laura Cox releases her new album 'Trouble Coming' today.
An album that leads listeners through darkness and existential questions while bursting with fuzzy energy, attitude, and a sense of electrifying fun.
One thing’s for sure: trouble has never sounded this good.
