I’ve always loved being outdoors.

My campervanning journey began aged 7 when my parents bought a 1972 VW T2 Westfalia Continental but prior to that we were car camping in an Austin Maxi.

My hillwalking journey began in 1991 when I climbed Ben Lomond to get fit for the West Highland Way. I compleated all 282 Munros in August 2022. My love of the hills will hopefully take me to Assynt to climb the peaks I haven't had time to do, revisit some of my earlier Munros and repeat some favourite Munros too. I also plan to walk long distance trails and maybe a Corbett or two.

I hope my vlogs inspire people to get out and explore! 🙂

Excited to share my experience of the stunning Skye Trail with you all. I rejoined the trail mid August to finish what I started in June and the scenery was definitely some of the best I’ve witnessed on any hike. It wasn’t all good with some wind, rain, scalds, trips and worst of all the Scottish midge! Video of stage 2 & 3 out tomorrow (Sunday).

Thank you so much if you watched, liked and commented on my Affric Kintail videos. Much appreciated. ☺️ I’ve had a few comments on how big my rucksack looked. I carried everything I needed for 4 days of hiking and basically used everything (apart from a 3 pin plug, some gopro accessories, air pods & a wee sponge I forgot about). Kit list video out this morning. Happy Easter 🐣 weekend from Brora and I. 🐶

I’ve been a bit quiet on YouTube but all is well. Between working extra hours and poor weather I’ve not managed to get out hiking. 🥾 Hopefully that will all change soon. I did however venture into my local (small) hills after work last week and visited 2 summits. Was lucky to catch the sunset and enjoyed some peaceful solitude. Video out this morning. 🌅

Helped my friend complete her 1st Munro 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Can you guess which one? Clue - it’s in the list of top 10 easiest Munros. Top tip: don’t be fooled, none of the Munros are easy!

‘Exploring Cowal & Pucks Glen’ is another campervan trip but 3 nights away wasn’t long enough to fully explore this beautiful part of Scotland. My next video will be climbing a mountain, I promise. Thank you to everyone who watches, likes or comments on the videos. Brora 🐶 & I very much appreciate it. X

Wow 🤩 2k subscribers. I was a bit scared to celebrate too early as subscriptions go up and down as many of you probably know. Thank you so much for all the subs, likes and comments. It means such a lot and encourages me to keep making videos. It’s really just a hobby but producing content for the next video certainly motivates me to get the boots 🥾(or trail shoes) on. Day 5 of the Southern Upland Way out tonight. 🎥

Day 4 on The Southern Upland Way was my favourite section, a long walk but much easier as a day hike. Available to watch now. X
