Germany isn’t just a destination for a degree.Β It could be a launchpad for your career.

Know how: bit.ly/3STaIgt

Nearly 70,000 Indian students are already studying in Germany and applications from India are growing rapidly. But the bigger story is what happens after graduation.

Germany has strong demand for skilled talent across areas like:
AI & Data
Engineering
Healthcare
Computer Science & other specialised fields

And with low/zero tuition at many public universities, Germany can offer a compelling study-to-career ROI β€” provided you plan beyond tuition fees.

If you want to work in Germany after graduation, your course, skills, German proficiency and the job market all need to line up.

This carousel breaks down why Germany is becoming such a strong opportunity for Indian students and what you actually need to get right.

Canada is opening more PR routes for foreign-trained doctors but getting PR is only half the journey.

Canada now has 5 immigration pathways that can help foreign-trained physicians move towards permanent residence, including:

βœ”οΈ Express Entry for physicians with Canadian work experience
βœ”οΈ Provincial Nominee Programs with 5,000 PR spaces reserved for doctors
βœ”οΈ Atlantic Immigration Program
βœ”οΈ Rural Community Immigration Pilot
βœ”οΈ Francophone Community Immigration Pilot

Your medical credentials still need to be assessed, and you may need to clear licensing exams, meet language requirements and complete residency or a Practice-Ready Assessment, depending on your route and province.πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“

So before choosing Canada based on its PR pathways, Indian doctors need to plan immigration and medical licensing as two separate processes.πŸš€

Save this if you're a doctor considering Canada, and share it with someone planning to move abroad for medicine.

Meet Ritwik, a Business Administration graduate from Bangalore who chose Germany over admits from HEC Paris and ESADE, and went on to build a career in German banking.

Ritwik pursued a Master's in Finance at Frankfurt School, where he discovered Germany's Werkstudent system and started building industry experience alongside his studies.

From applying to nearly 100 internships for just one callback, to working at Deutsche BΓΆrse, moving into Commerzbank, and eventually transitioning into risk management, his journey was far from linear.

Today, he has 5+ years of experience, and is currently working on an international secondment in Malaysia. And perhaps the most interesting part? He chose Germany not just for the degree, but for the career opportunities and long-term prospects after graduation.

His advice to students is simple: rejections are part of the process. Keep applying, keep improving, and take your career seriously from day one.

Want to know what it actually takes to build a career in Germany after your Master's? Read Ritwik's full journey.πŸš€

American universities could be looking at a much bigger presence in India.

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor said that top US institutions including Harvard, NYU and Purdue are interested in bringing their institutions to India, citing the strong demand from Indian students for American education. He also said he is working to make some of these plans happen over the next year.

Gor also highlighted the huge demand to study and work in the US, saying that the country simply cannot accommodate everyone who wants to move there.

If these plans materialise, it could mean more access to US university education within India - potentially changing how Indian students think about studying at some of the world’s most recognised institutions. But for now, these are discussions and plans, not confirmed campus launches.
