SOTM VIDEO CANCELLED

So change of plans, I'm scrapping the SOTM Video and moving onto working on another video.

The reason is that:

1. Im just not invested or inspired enough to work on the video, Im just way more invested in the other video concept and I'd think that make a way more interesting than this one.

2. I think the research and writing ive done so far might be better served in a future video down the line.

3. The more researcb i do the more uncertain i feel on the subject. I want to do a proper deep dive into Steel Wool as a company before properly talking about they games in a video, whether that be praise or criticism. I feel like there are plenty of people who've already made great videos on the subject that I'd want to do my due diligence educating myself on the topic beforehand.

Because I dont want to just another mindless negative Nancy or spineless glazer cus there's already enough of that in this discussion.

Anyways yeah, SOTM is scrapped, so expect my ACTUAL first full channel video by the end of August/start of September. Im really like the concept of this one so stay tuned, I have also been working on various other animated projects in between the scrapped video, so you can expect some of those soon too.

Also since the videos been scrapped I might as well give a opinion TLDR on SOTM

Positives: A great step forward in the franchise, some of the best lore addition in years, story was actually engaging and actually understandable purely within the game itself, animation is suburb as always and the overall art directionis is great, amazing sound design, tense gameplay and better scares and the whole Chicas Party World aspect of the game is some of the best world-building I've seem come out of this series, ALSO SHE HAS ROLLER SKATES!

Negatives: compared to other horror series its not really anything special or groundbreaking, presentation and Polish is lacking in areas, areas have some awful audio cut off, pointless multiple endings (seriously this series needs to drop them, just have one narratively satisfying ending pls) and STILL no ultrawide support

Over as horror games 6/10
As an entry in the FNAF Series It's a 8/10

Does that make any sense, NOPE but the out of 10 system rating system is a stupid system for trying to convey any opinion anyways so oh well.

Might as well utilize this thing to giving you lot an update on this since things have been pretty dead round here lately.

So since about November I've just been kind of hard focused on my Animation course at University at the moment so that's the main culprit for the near radio silence as of lately, I was also feeling pretty burnt out during December and January due to a combination between both said Uni course but also my Anniversary animation and my futile attempts to try and get it done for Halloween, although good news, I have been WAY more motivated these past couple months, really getting ahead on my course work and even started to pick up drawing again.



I'm Planning on revamping the channel and what I make, making some big changes and announcements after shortly finishing my second year in May and making some fun videos that'll hopefully really getting the channel going again during the Summer. I've got so many cool ideas and projects I actually want to realize and put out there for both your entertainment but for my our joy of creating and no longer putting off my projects and ambitions.

On top of that I really don't want to JUST make FNAF animation for this channel and that's it, I want this channel to be more than that and make other types of videos with other things I'm interested in. FNAF ANIMATIONS AND FNAF VIDEOS IN GENERAL ARE STILL ON THE TABLE THO DON'T WORRY! I still love this franchise and still have so many things I want to make with it! I just want to expand this channel and what I make and hopefully everyone else is up for that as well.

And don't worry, The Anniversary animation is still coming just expect it to released during the last quarter of this year as I'm not really fussed anymore about arbitrary release dates, I'm more focused on putting out animations that satisfy my own quality standards for my work.
