Samahang Modern
Established in 1986 for the annual Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night, Samahang Modern is UCLA’s premiere open style & hip-hop dance team. Comprised of students balancing their academic goals with their creative passions, Samahang Modern is dedicated to dance, professionalism, family, and cultural roots. The team recognizes that they are more than just a collection of individual talents. They value building a family and home—acting together and moving as one.
