Pakistan Navy participated in Annual Maritime Security Conference 2025, organized by Combined Maritime Forces from 12-14 May at Bahrain. PN was represented by Commander Combined Task Force 151 (CCTF-151), Cdre Sohail Ahmed Azmie.
Representatives from 46 CMF partner Nations attended the conference.
Pakistan Navy's participation in the conference reflects its dedication to collaborative efforts in maintaining maritime security and stability in the region.

PAKISTAN NAVY PARTICIPATES IN 8TH PAKISTAN ARMY TEAM SPIRIT (PATS) EXERCISE 2025
Pakistan Navy participated for the first time in 8th Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) Exercise 2025 — a gruelling 60-hour patrolling challenge designed to test and enhance combat readiness and tactical skills.
The exercise was held in Pabbi, Kharian from 8–18 April and featured 24 teams from across the globe, including 7 teams from Pakistan Army, 1 team from Pakistan Navy and 16 teams from friendly countries namely Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Morocco, Qatar, USA, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Belarus, China, Nepal, and Turkiye. Additionally, military observers from Bangladesh, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, South Africa, and Thailand were also in attendance.
Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), honoured the event as Chief Guest. While interacting with Pakistan Navy team, he commended their maiden participation and encouraged continued involvement in future editions.

PAKISTAN NAVY AND RUSSIAN FEDERATION NAVY CONDUCT BILATERAL NAVAL EXERCISE ARABIAN MONSOON-VI
Pakistan Navy (PN) and Russian Federation Navy (RFN) conducted bilateral naval exercise Arabian Monsoon-VI in North Arabian Sea.
Various assets of Pakistan Navy, including a Destroyer, an Offshore Patrol Vessel, a Fast Attack Craft (Missile), a Maritime Patrol Aircraft, and a UAV, participated in the exercise alongside RFN ships. A key highlight of the exercise was the participation of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter aircraft in various serials. The exercise featured multi-faceted maritime warfare serials and a coordinated patrol, aimed at enhancing interoperability and demonstrating a joint commitment to countering common maritime security threats.
Prior to the sea phase, RFN ships were hosted at Karachi, where cross-ship visits, harbour drills, and table-top discussions were conducted. RFN delegates also called on senior Pakistan Navy officials and paid tribute to the Founder of Pakistan by laying a wreath at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Joint maritime exercises with key naval forces underscore Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maintaining maritime security and ensuring a stable maritime order in the region.

VICE CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF VISITS KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA
Vice Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami alongwith delegation called on leadership of Royal Saudi Naval Forces during official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the visit, Vice Chief called on Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Mohammed A. Alghuraybi. The discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, regional maritime security, naval collaboration, bilateral exercises and training opportunities. PN delegation also gave a detailed briefing, highlighting various avenues of joint collaboration to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia historically enjoy brotherly relations and the visit of Vice Chief of the Naval Staff will further augment and expand defence ties between the two navies.
