I know i promised a music history show today, but I've been ill all night & i need to at less postpone, if not cancel the Thursday broadcast for this week.

to say that today was a shit show would be an understatement.
First, I discovered that my settings were wrong, then I discovered that my monitor was prolly also taken out by the zero day attack (that's the last time it worked. Not sure if that's even a possibility, but that is what I discovered. Haven't tried to use it since the day I lost my computer.

Can't do a show without both those things so... no show.
I'd had about 4 hrs of sleep when all of this happened, so when I got some food in me and sat down on my couch, I was a goner.

Not sure if I want to try to make tomorrow's show happen on short notice or not.
Please weigh in and let me know: If I do my regularly scheduled metal show, will I even have listeners?

You're dealing with a person who fumbles with the OBS settings etc - to do these shows, so suffice it to say, I'm running way behind. It'll be up today, just prolly by noon, not 10 am.

I just heard the most mind blowing cover I have ever experienced, (guitar and it's literally a mostly unsung musician, a Polish guy in the forest, just jammin' away on an iceman, and the video is just 3 straight minutes of hallucinogenic fly agaric mushrooms popping out of every corner and scaring him.

This is summarily the most introverted shoegaze video I have ever seen, and this absolute genius guitarist deserves your views if you love prodigious playing that verges on shoegaze.

To all commenters who saw me broadcasting the last commentary for #ShoegazeWednesday:
I go live to comment on the songs on this playlist, as if it were a radio show, bc it's the only way to do a live video music broadcast that I am aware of, that preserves monetization for artists, and allows the original video to be shown. I am sure it's confusing if you just come across it, but go look at the latest shoegaze Wednesday playlist, & it'll make more sense.
