Lifetime, my favourite song I’ve ever made, is out everywhere now 🌎

Last Spring, I spent a month in the English Countryside at Decoy Studios working on the album. One evening, Ed Drewett, Reuben James, Jordan Moon were eating dinner, when Ed told us the story of how he met his wife Daisy as kids where they grew up. The story moved us all so much, we pretty much ran back to the studio to write a song about it.

The first chords Reuben played are the chords that open the song. We spent an hour layering up the chorus hook with gang vocals, then I sat outside staring at the sky with the chorus looping in the background. The song made me feel a way that so many of my favourite songs growing up made me feel, and it captures something musically that I haven’t created before. It’s a little different to what you might have heard before from me, but I hope you love it as much as I do.

Big shout out to Jason Lester on smashing the idea for the video out of the park, and to my amazing wedding band Blu DeTiger, Xkylar, Banter & Luke Armitage.
