Hi, I'm Sandy Allnock - have we met? I make art tutorial videos for creative people of all levels! With over 1,600 video tutorials, I hope there's something here to get you moving to your next step with watercolor, pen and ink, colored pencils, alcohol markers, gouache, and more. I love to help beginners, so please do leave questions in the comments, I see them all! I love hearing your ideas for videos too, so sometimes I'll turn your question into an entire tutorial.

A little highlight from the gift guide - a new coloring book class, in which lessons will be in colored pencil, alcohol marker, and watercolor! You can get a fancy watercolor coloring book like this one, or we'll also watercolor in "normal" coloring books. And you can pick one medium or all three. Early lessons will be geared toward beginners, on shading, blending, color theory. Later lessons will have techniques for various subjects that'll help in growing as a colorist, and some will be more advanced - but expectation is you get your own books at the level you feel comfortable with now, and will apply lessons to your own pictures.

Coming up on Saturday's video: a realtime watercolor pencil drawing! Not live, but realtime - and you're welcome to get a sketch ready and grab some pencils to work with. Ignore that purple color, it was one I used by accident, LOL! Use colors similar, and have a tea strainer and/or nail file ready to make some powdered pigment. If you join in during the premiere you can open chat and talk with others while we work. Or chat then paint later! (I'll be there just at the start of the Premiere, but I need to jet to a funeral.)
