This year, I partnered with Sing Me a Story for the second time! Sing Me a Story is a non-profit organization that takes stories written by children in need and turns them into songs. Through Children’s Hospital Colorado, SMAS connected me with 13-year-old Carlos. Carlos wrote a story about some of the extreme health challenges he has faced but his resilience through it all.

I turned Carlos' story into this song and had the chance to perform it for him live. You can listen to the full song here: bit.ly/3YO876d.
