This was a special day for Ricco and I, we had the pleasure of meeting Lago and Cosmo.
Lago is a male Quaker and Cosmo is a male Ringneck parrot.
I was excited and nervous at the same time as Ricco has never been a fan of other birds.
I tried it in the past, but perhaps not in a setting that was suitable for Ricco.
We decided to have the play date at my place to make things less stressful for Ricco as Lago and Cosmo are very familiar with each other.
All and all it went well, I think they will become friends over time and I’m really looking forward to having another play date soon.
