As we are preparing for Arc 7 auditions, Reverie will take a week off of Arc 6 live recordings! We will be back again on April 26th at noon EST!

We will return to a regular Friday upload schedule for the Podcast, and we will post our workshop with Anime Ottawa at a later date!

We missed a Friday upload just due to my work schedule this week, but moving forward this is our upload/live schedule! We will let you know when we have to cancel moving forward, but this should be the same each week!

Mondays are currently being used to help us alleviate our podcast backlog. Once we catch up, we will not be uploading on Mondays, unless we have a new series to add!

FAQ/Philosophy on the LIVE RECORDINGS of Arc 6:

Thank you all for coming back to us with your constructive criticism about this weekend's reading. We appreciate the feedback, and we are considering it into our next decisions. As a reminder, the live recordings help us continue our momentum with the series itself, and can serve to help reduce the number of recordings that we have to collect from our team.

A majority of Arc 6 Phase 1 has already been recorded by narrators previously, and most of the live recorded narrators will be replaced with the original narrator (we do try to bring the original narrator back on for their chapter). Although things may not be the best for immersion with certain chapters of the live recordings, they are just the rough copy of the final product, which will take us months to catch up to.

As for our characters that are being covered in the live recordings, only a handful of VAs have submitted their lines, so we cannot post the final versions yet. We try our best to test mic issues and headphone issues in advance, but on occasion it just does not work as nicely with discord. We have been more picky with final takes of the pre-recorded version.

We will keep this in mind moving forward, as we do want a good final product, but at the end of the day this is a community passion project. We want to build up our community and have fun, and once we decide to prioritize high quality over community atmosphere, we will begin to become more closed off and inaccessible. We would like to stay open as a community project for as long as possible while having fun.

There is always an argument for both sides of quality and community, and we may be able to achieve both one day, but as of now this is a project that has been held together by community and passion - not money. It's rare to find a project that can maintain a huge cast for free, and it can be difficult to hold on to talent for that reason. We are lucky to be where we are today, and I hope we can continue to foster this kind of online community for as long as possible.

It's okay if you do not agree with this stance, some have said it is the reason why we are still so small in the Re:Zero niche. Our community is happy, accepting, and excited to keep going. You're welcome to keep us posted on constructive criticism, before I delete comments I screenshot them or jot them down so I can speak with the person that they are directed at and find a way to move forward together. We do consider your thoughts, but I will always delete those comments unless they relate to someone who has already said it's fine to see those comments. Myself, Wolf, Connor, and Gold have all expressed this, but the rest of our cast has not, so to keep them safe I delete the comments.

If it is important to their growth, I share them; if they are not, I don't.

We've updated the titles of our Arc 5 (Season 3) version of the Web Novel readings to reflect which chapters will cover the first episode of Season 1!

Chapters 77-81 have a few bits from the anime that's already been covered, but they all have a few answers that will lead right into the next arc!
