Very random post but I was listening to the OST for Outer Wilds recently, and I couldn't help but think about how integral music is in video games. Now I've, admittedly, never played Outer Wilds. But I think it's so amazing that I can listen to the OST alone and understand so much about what message the game is trying to send to the player. Be curious, embrace fear, keep going anyways because... that's all there is to do. Now Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't approach such an emotional bit of storytelling in IT'S music, but it exists for the same purpose in emphasizing moments and what they're supposed to mean to the plot or even just your character. Composers seem to have such a strong ability to make certain tracks fit EXACTLY what the situation calls for. And I absolutely love it.

What are some of your favorite soundtracks in video games? I still go back to expedition 33 myself but I'm always looking to add more to some playlists of mine.

Be on the lookout within the next couple days for the next "We Need To Talk About" class video! You've all been patient in waiting for this one, and it's longer than ANY other one so far, so hopefully it's worth it.

Playing a cleric is one of the coolest experiences to have in this game, but it also teases you more than perhaps any other class. And it has to do with those 27 gods you pick from in character creation.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the comments on release! I'll let you know when it'll be up in the coming days!

New video today!! At around 2PM EST we'll be looking at 5 weapons in Baldur's Gate 3 that have WAY more lore than most know is the case. This one was a ton of fun to make, and I learned a LOT more about the history of the forgotten realms in the process!

Thank you all for being patient with me for this one, I've been working to get some videos done ahead of time so we can have a better release schedule going forward. I'm super excited for what's coming up and I hope you all are too!

3 years goes by so fast!

I've never quite had a gaming experience like I have with Baldur's Gate 3 and it's so fun to look at all of these stats from Larian. But... wait. MY BOY ZEVLOR HAS DIED THE MOST? HOW COULD YOU ALL!!!!???
