🇮🇩:Korps Brigade Mobile atau sering disingkat Korps Brimob adalah kesatuan operasi khusus yang bersifat paramiliter milik Polri. Korps Brimob menjadi penerus Polisi Istimewa yang beranggotakan Polisi Pribumi ( Keibodan ) yang dibentuk 29 April 1943, lalu menjalani pendidikan untuk dijadikan Polisi Istimewa / Tokkubetsu Keisatsutai.Korps Brimob merupakan korps tertua dalam tubuh Polri karena menjadi cikal bakal pembentukan institusi Polri. Beberapa tugas utamanya adalah penanganan terorisme domestik, penanganan kerusuhan, penegakan hukum berisiko tinggi, pencarian dan penyelamatan (SAR), penyelamatan sandera, dan penjinakan bom (EOD). Korps Brigade Mobil juga bersifat sebagai komponen besar di dalam Polri yang dilatih untuk melaksanakan tugas-tugas anti-separatis dan anti-pemberontakan, sering kali bersamaan dengan operasi militer.[Korps Brimob tergolong sebagai "Unit Taktis Polisi" (Police Tactical Unit - PTU) dan secara operasional bersifat kesatuan Senjata dan Taktik Khusus (SWAT) polisi (termasuk Densus 88 dan Gegana). Sebelum bernama Brimob, satuan ini pernah bernama Polisi Istimewa pada tahun 1944-1946.
