When your welds start to look sloppy and poor, sometimes it’s an indicator that you need a new lens on the helmet. Even if the current lens doesn’t have a ton of scratches. The smoke from the welding can tint and distort your vision. Try to keep it clean

When you know your craft well you will be able to demand your worth. Once you have a good grasp on your potential earnings you can enjoy the fruits of your labor for not only yes sometimes hard gruesome work but great pay to match that will send you home feeling accomplished. Nothing worse then being excited about a new job and then after getting stuck completing it or finding out how much work it really intends and losing money on a underpriced bid that can steal away confidence. You don’t have to overprice but when you know your worth you will feel comfortable standing behind the price you share without budging.
