Why Did People Start Calling Me The UK Chilli Queen?
It all started by accident many years ago! I entered a Chilli-Eating Challenge in Kingston-Upon-Thames, won it, and here I am many victories later! I love hot food and enjoy the delectable piquancy that a chilli adds to a portion of food...but no way do I have any special superhuman powers or high tolerance to pain! These chillies wound me just like they do most people. The nerves set in days in advance and I dread each and every competition but I just can't give up when it comes to a chilli challenge!

It is my honour to introduce the Hungarian Champion, Jakab "Jannonius" János, as he prepares to challenge for the 14th League of Fire World Title Match - Showdown in Motown! 🔥🌶️🏆
On 1st August, at the Detroit Hot Sauce Festival, held inside the magnificent Masonic Temple Detroit - the world's largest Masonic Temple - Jakab will step onto the biggest stage in competitive chilli eating with one goal: to become the first Hungarian World Champion.
Already the first person in League of Fire history to win three Road Belt titles, Jannonius has earned his place among the sport's elite. Now, he'll attempt to complete an extraordinary journey and bring the World Title belt home to Hungary.
