Sonia Stein is a Warsaw/London based singer-songwriter, known for her soulful vocals, introspective lyrics, and a unique blend of pop, R&B and electronic influences. Sonia first caught the attention of producer Liam Howe (FKA Twigs, Adele, Jessie Ware ) resulting in a series of EPs, which all showcase her songwriting but also her extensive vocal range and talent as a performer, an artist to watch with “a voice that will leave you hypnotised” says Wonderland Magazine. Live she’s been enchanting audiences at Glastonbury festival, and supporting Alice Merton, Dido, James Arthur and Lucy Spraggan around the world. Sonia’s new songs in 2025 (Blooming Season Part 1 & 2) represent the next step in the journey of introspection started with 2023’s debut album ‘Lessons From Earth’. With a distinct lyrical style and a focus on narrative songwriting, her self-written songs are heartfelt, relatable and laced with a touch of humour.

Can you believe it? Blooming Season Part 2 will be yours 25th July 💐 I started this project knowing I wanted to create differently than I had before and that I did. All of these songs were born within the same 3 days of each other inspired by a photoshoot taken 6 months prior. Then I took the time to go back and tend and water each one of them like it’s own little bloom in the garden of the Blooming Season universe and felt into how they tell the story. I have loved working with old and new friends on this and feel so grateful to everyone who contributed. My newest single ‘Get Out of the Way” featuring Piotr is finally out now! 🌼✨

Wrote this song with Piotr and Duit at the same writing camp that gave birth to all of blooming season. 💗 As soon as I heard Piotr’s voice I knew I wanted to sing with him so having him on this track is so cool and I just love the depth and soul he brought to the second verse. Palmr helped bring it into the blooming season universe with the amazing production, with Luke Higgins adding his guitar magic and Joe Harris adding flavour with the live drums. Mix was done by Joe Rodwell and mastering by Kevin Tuffy.

Anomaly is out now! This song feels like a little bit of sunshine to me 🌼 ☀️ I wrote the lyrics to it a week before I got engaged, I could feel the shift in energy and it was a little jokey way of me saying “I always knew this would happen.” And I did not plan it coming out the day after I actually got married hehe. It’s just a sweet, cheeky tune that is a bit of an f u to so many platitudes and relationship advice online. You’re the only one who knows what’s right and wrong to u , there is no such thing as normal and you’re all on your own timeline. And people can and do change over time, that’s the whole point of being here on this spinning rock in the universe and the whole point of loving each other. Hope you love it ! 🩷
