Ancient India was intellectually extraordinary. What makes it especially interesting is that it wasn’t one single philosophy. There were people arguing—sometimes very radically—about the biggest questions imaginable:

* Vedic thinkers: What is ṛta, reality, the gods, and ultimately Brahman?

* Upanishadic thinkers: What is the Self (ātman)? Is it identical with ultimate reality?

* Buddhists: Is there actually a permanent self? What causes suffering?

* Jains: How does karma physically/spiritually bind the jīva ( soul) ?

* Ājīvikas: Is everything predetermined by niyati? Is everything that happens is governed by an inevitable cosmic order which is called Niyati.

* Materialists (Lokāyata/Cārvāka): Why believe in an afterlife or invisible reality at all.

I want to explore India from Vedic period to Materialists ones.

Disability is not a business. If some providers or individuals have abused the NDIS, hold them accountable. Don’t punish people with disability by cutting the support they genuinely need. Target fraud, not participants.
