Another chapter of my life has come to a close, as I have made the decision to resign from Weapon of Pride. It was a tough decision to make. I have been with them since 2019 (back when we were still Subcontra), and it is by far the band I’ve been with the longest. I helped write every single song we put out. We’ve traveled and toured the whole southwest. We’ve put out a full length album, an EP; we even won Playdio and made it onto the radio. We’ve shared a lot of experiences together, and it hurts to leave behind something that I’ve been an integral part of for so long.

However, it did feel like it was time to do so; not only am I growing and gaining more and more opportunities, but I’ve also had to turn a lot down. As much as I’d love to drum for 8 different bands, I simply just don’t have the time to. I’ve found it’s better to give my 100% effort to fewer commitments than give 50% to a lot. Plus, it’s just better for my mental health to not spread myself so thin. So, with all that said, I wish Weapon the best of luck, and I appreciate Ryan and Logan for sharing these experiences with me and being just absolutely incredible musicians. Hopefully we shall share the stage again someday 🍻🖤

Hey everyone! I know it's been a minute since I've uploaded a video. Usually I do take December off to just rest, relax, and enjoy the holidays, so I was planning and expecting to put out a couple videos in January. However, I ended up getting really busy, mainly with traveling. From Arsenic Kitchen putting on back-to-back emo nite shows to Weapon of Pride playing at the Whisky (as pictured here), then ending up in El Paso to play a fill-in gig with Young Misery; it was a pretty packed month. I suppose if I really wanted to upload videos, I should've at least filmed the shows and posted those. Oh well, I'll remember next time lol.

But essentially, I am making this post to let you all know that more videos are coming soon! More covers, 90 second songs, collabs, maybe even some talking vids where I just sit down and talk about music for 10 or so minutes. 2023 is looking to be a bright year, and I plan on working extra hard so that I can look back and be proud of all that I accomplish this year. That's all I got for now!
