☩ Remember Limerick! ☩
Céad míle fáilte. I am an Irish Catholic monarchist. On this channel I upload folk music and marches. The main purpose of my channel is to educate people on history, particularly Irish history and Ireland's role in the British Empire.
My ideal image of these Isles is to return to a pre-1707 state in which there exists 3 Kingdoms, under a Catholic Stuart monarchy. Yes, that is quite a romantic idea, but it is my dream.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer. My favourite thing about this channel is seeing people interact and converse about topics of history I had thought were so overlooked and niche. I am incredibly happy to have found a community of Jacobites and other likeminded people.
This channel is for educational purposes only. I do not own any of the music, films, or images in any of the videos. All credit goes to their original creators. None of my videos are monetised.

Fact of the day:
The first recorded automobile-related death took place in Birr, County Offaly in 1869.
Mrs. Ward was travelling with her husband, the Hon. Henry Ward, when she slipped off the stool and was crushed by the wheel as the car made a sharp turn.

The song of the Volunteers of Ireland (also known as the 2nd American Regiment or 105th Regiment of Foot), a loyalist military unit comprised mostly of Irishmen, led by the Irish patriot Lord Rawdon (3rd picture);
SUCCESS to the shamrogue, and all those who wear it,
Be honour their portion wherever they go,
May riches attend them, and store of good claret,
For how to employ them sure none better know;
Every foe surveys them with terror,
But every silk petticoat wishes them nearer,
So Yankee keep off, or you’ll soon learn your error,
For Paddy shall prostrate lay ev’ry foe.
This day, but the year I can't rightly determine
St. Patrick the vipers did chase from this land,
Let’s see if like him we can’t sweep off the vermin
Who dare ‘gainst the sons of the shamrogue to stand;
Hand in hand! let’s carrol this chorus,
“As long as the blessings of Ireland hang o’er us,
“The crest of rebellion shall tremble before us,
“Like brothers while thus we march hand in hand!”
St. George & St. Patrick, St. Andrew, St. David,
Together may laugh at all Europe in arms,
Fair conquest her standard has o’er their heads waved
And glory has on them conferr’d all her charms!
War’s alarms! to us are a pleasure,
Since honour our danger repays in full measure,
And all those who join us shall find we have leisure,
To think of our sport ev’n in war’s alarms!
