My name is Daniel Connell, I'm an open source lowtech designer. Essentially I design and tutorialise things that people can make themselves from recycled materials which allow them to generate their own energy, purify water, cook, communicate, etc.

The units are efficient, durable, portable, and require no significant earthworks or impact on the waterway.
200 watts / 5 kWh/day with 3 meters of drop and 35 l/s flow, more with more of either, maximum power output 500W.
£250 for the turbine unit, plus £15 postage within the UK. £100 for in person delivery and installation within UK. Includes a full consultation about integration with your site and setup, aftercare, and ongoing advice and recommendations.

Never use UPS. They counted everything in my package twice, for no obvious reason, and are now refusing to deliver it unless I pay a significant import duty on the extra items which clearly don't exist. This has been going on for three weeks now and they still haven't gotten around to resolving the basic and obvious error.
