âWork Silently and Let Your Success Make the Noise?" I DISAGREE!
We've all heard this advice before: "Keep your head down and let results speak for themselves."
But in today's connected world, I believe this approach is fundamentally flawed.
Here's why sharing your journey publicly is MORE powerful:
â Building a network isn't just about connectionsâit's about ENGAGED connections. When people follow your journey (including the struggles), they become invested in your success.
â Public accountability is a powerful motivator. When I share my goals and progress, I feel responsible to my audience to keep pushing forward.
â You unlock opportunitiesâa strong digital presence attracts like-minded people, mentors, and even career prospects.
The truth? Working silently might feel safer, but it limits your impact.
đ„In todayâs world, visibility matters.
đĄWhy work hard in silence when you can inspire along the way?
đHave you ever shared your journey online? How did it impact you? Tell me in the comments below đ

During my engineering placements, I made a BOLD DECISION!
Instead of joining a prestigious Big4 consultancy like Deloitte, I chose to join a startup.
People around me thought I was making a HUGE mistake.
They suggested that having the name of a big company on my resume was the safer choice and that Iâd regret it later.
But looking back, I feel that was one of the BEST DECISIONS I ever made.
At the startup, I got the opportunity to work independently on impactful projects quite early in my career.
I learned how to take accountability for failures, build client relationships, and navigate the complexities of the business world.
This hands-on experience strengthened my resume and helped me get into Georgia Tech (MSCS) and secure a SDE role at Walmartâwithout having being from an IIT/NIT background đ
The lesson I learned through this experience:
Whether itâs your resume or life, your WORK always speaks louder than your BRAND NAME đ

â âGetting my Google offer rescinded was the best career setback I never asked for."
Like every software engineer, I too dreamed of working at GOOGLE one day.
đ„In 2022, after months of hard work, I finally cracked Google!
But just as I was celebrating, the tech recession hit the US, and the position I was offered got canceled.
It was a tough moment. I kept asking myself, "Why me?"
But life had other plans. Around the same time, I landed an internship at Walmart, which later converted into a full-time job.
While many companies in the US were laying off employees, Walmart turned out to be a stable, rewarding and growth-oriented opportunity for me.
đĄLooking back, I realized: Sometimes, God doesnât give you what you think you want, but he gives you what is actually best for you at that moment.
Keep working hard, and trust that the bigger plan is always in motion.
His plan is always 100% better than your plan.
đ Have you experienced a moment where Godâs plan turned out better than your own? Drop it in the comments!

đ A degree comes with a price. But sometimes, the real debt isnât moneyâitâs trust.
When I was about to go abroad for my Masterâs degree at Georgia Tech, we got a âč50 lakh loan sanctioned from the bank.
As a collateral, my parents submitted our home property documents to the bank.
Thankfully, I got a scholarship, so we never had to use the loan. But sometimes, I thinkâŠ
What if I hadnât gotten the scholarship?
What if I hadnât landed a job?
Would my parents have struggled to repay the loan? Would they have had to sell the house? Who knows?
But one thing I do knowâour parents never let our growth stop, no matter the cost.
đĄAnd thatâs when I realized⊠Failure was never an option for me.
When someone sacrifices everything for you, you donât just tryâŠ
You make it happen.
You give not just 100% but 1000%.
đTo everyone who has parents who believed in themâwhatâs the biggest sacrifice they made for your dreams? Share in the comments!

âBeing a Topper Does not Guarantee Successâ
For the past 10 years, I was a topper throughout school and engineering college. But today, I can confidently sayâbeing at the top of your class does not determine your success in life.
To be successful, what truly matters is to have a GROWTH MINDSET, where you are contsantly learning, adapting and improving every single day!
I developed this growth mindset through my topper journey, but different people can cultivate it in DIFFERENT ways!
So, if youâre worried about grades or degrees, always remember this:
To be successful, you donât need to be at the top of your class, you donât need a fancy degree!
All you need is the willingness to grow and evolve!
All you need is the GROWTH MINDSETđđ»

People are always jealous of your RESULT, but never jealous of your JOURNEY!
For 10 years, I rode an Activa in India, but people only see the Tesla I drive today!
My childhood was spent studying for 16 hours every single day, but people only see the Georgia Tech degree I hold today!
I spent 15 years living in a very old house, but people only see the well-furnished home it has become today!
I began my career in a startup, filled with challenges, but people only see the SWE3 at Walmart I am today!
Donât compare your âDAY0â to someoneâs âDAY100â
Instead, try to learn from their journey, and create YOUR OWN JOURNEY full of both challenges and accomplishmentsđ
One day, you will look back and will be super PROUD of your journey and your growthđđ»
