Big News — We're Changing Our Studio Name!

We’re excited to announce that we’re officially changing our studio name from Nikau and Fern Animation Studios to StarTail Animation.

This new name reflects the direction our studio is growing — brighter, more creative, and proudly inspired by the furry fandom. StarTail Animation better represents the worlds, characters, and anthro style that our community loves and supports.

And if you couldn’t already guess… yes, our whole studio is full of furries — and we’re proud of it. 🦊💙

Nothing else is changing:

✨ Same furry-inspired creativity
✨ Same passion for animation
✨ And our videos will NOT change — same style, same quality, same vibe.

from next year January 2nd there will be some changes to the way we upload Animations
Are big projects including
1 hoppers fan Animation
2 zootopia 2 fan Animation
Will be made into one very big video
For the other ones including
1 luca fan Animation
2 elio fan Animation
3 beach please the Animation will be made into small episodes which means we can use the extra time to make are big projects first and then the smaller weekly episodes will be released after the big ones the reason why we are doing this for is to save time trying to get everything out in the limited time we have to get them done please note that the release date will definitely be changed for all of them

What we think about Zootopia 2
We absolutely loved it — the world, the energy, the comedy, everything! Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps were perfect together again, and the movie delivered exactly what fans have been waiting for. Honestly, it might just beat Elio… but only by the tiniest bit.

Zootopia is back, and we’re here for it. 🦊🐰✨
