The back and sides were crafted from the Silver Maple tree that stood in his family’s backyard in Edina, Minnesota, the very same tree Matt swung in as a kid.

Decades later, when the tree died, a piece of Matt’s childhood was given new life as a guitar.

McPherson-specific Straplock kits available!

This kit includes Classic Schaller S-locks, with a machine screw specific for the McPherson heel button, as well as the Music Nomad Acousti-Loc adapter for the endpin jack.

Since McPhersons are designed with a metal pin inside the heel of the guitar, typical strap lock kits can be problematic. Lock it down with the McPherson kit!
