Welcome to the channel of Shiva The Destroyer.
Born as Rohan Sharma—formerly known as Rx Mundi—I’m a rapper and songwriter from the suburbs of Philadelphia, but the journey here has been far from ordinary.
In 2011, while studying medicine at Drexel University, I experienced a severe psychotic episode triggered by a misdiagnosed mental illness and the wrong medication. Everything changed. I was arrested for an armed robbery and sentenced to 23 months in PICC—Philadelphia’s most notorious county jail.
The same year I was released, I encountered Khidr—the hidden guide of Sufi tradition—on the pathless path. He gave me the name Shiva The Destroyer.
My upcoming debut LP, “Dark Night of the Soul,” tells the story of that encounter—of breaking, remembering, and the long return to truth.

Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been a minute… I wanted to take a moment to let you know I’m still working on music and I have a couple of projects in the works that I’m really excited to share 🤩 I’ve also been taking a lot of time to work on myself as well so that I can give you all the best quality music that I can. While there’s def been some ups and downs in the process, there’s also been tremendous growth through it all, and there’s literally nothing else in the world I would rather be doing than creating music 🎶 can’t thank you all enough for the continued support!
Gonna do my best in the meantime to post more frequently (more updates, self-help tips, and freestyles) in between releasing songs but as you can see I’ve decided to change my artist name to “Shiva The Destroyer”... you should be able to find all my new music once it’s released under that name on Apple Music, Spotify, etc. so def stay tuned for that!
Last, but certainly not least, I sincerely hope each and every one of you out there is doing well. You may be going through a challenging time rn, but one thing I’ve learned from my experiences is that we’re all a lot stronger and more capable than we realize 💪🏾
