I've been around YouTube for awhile creating all kinds of content since the creation of my very first channel "Sasebo2006" on November 14, 2008. My first video ever was posted on December 30, 2008 and showcased my Vintage Pokemon TCG Collection. It's cringe to look at now due to the quality being filmed with my Flip Video Recorder, but it's still fun to look back now and see how far I've come. I went on from there to create a channel for fun little skits, music videos, and experimental videos. Then I created a channel for Daily Vlogs and a channel for Gaming and Game Reviews. I have finally decided to bring all those creative ideas and consolidate them into one channel. There will be Pokemon Content, Vlogs, Gaming Content, Funny Skits and so much more. In my long time as a creator on YouTube (since November 2008) my videos are a testament to the fact that you don't need any fancy expensive equipment or a fancy expensive studio to make great quality fun & entertaining videos. I actually should show you the setup with the gameplay camera in place so you can get an idea of how I record the gameplay portion. Then the other tripod on the corner of the TV is for my phone camera which is the facecam. Then I sit on the corner of my bed at an angle so that the gameplay camera doesn't block my view of the TV and the facecam has an unobstructed view of me playing the game with the controller in my hand. In editing, the facecam video is then matched by my first words spoken to the gameplay video audio and I mute the facecam sound in preference of the gameplay video audio since the mic on that camera comes across louder & clearer than the phone. It's fun to figure out the filming techniques & visuals, lighting and sound. Now you can get an idea of what goes into recording each episode of Retro Gamer Mondays. I remember playing & collecting Pogs back in the 90s. I couldn't resist getting my favorite set from 1994 again. This is the NFL League Before Time Set. This is NFL History because it was before there were 32 teams, before the Redskins changed their name, before the Oilers became the Titans, before the Rams moved to St. Louis for a while and before the Browns became the Ravens. I'm very happy to have this set again! 😁
