I’ll never forget I was around 16 or 17 years old and my friend Jason let me borrow a copy of “Macross Plus The Movie” on VHS!🤦🏾‍♂️ I can vividly remember hearing the opening theme by Yoko Kanno and being totally captivated by how beautiful it was and then a few seconds later being totally blown away with the amazing opening action sequence of that film. I was instantly a fan! And then a few years later “Cowboy Bebop” came out and I was like yup Watanabe is the one! So when I got the news that he wanted me to be one of the composers for his new series I was beyond hype like completely in shock. Needless to say this project is like a dream come true for me. Thank you Shin’ichirō Watanabe for inviting me to join you on this latest journey. Every note of this music comes from the deepest parts of my heart I hope you all enjoy it. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
