Hi everyone. I just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for getting my 2024 animation of the Sinking of the M.S. Estonia to over 400,000 views! The video reached this goal today, on the Estonia's 32nd Sinking Anniversary, when she sank on September 28th, 1994! What a coincidence. This was one of my favourite videos to make in my old rendering engine, Lumion, really pushing the software to the limits using several new animation and lighting methods. The video holds up so well today that it is considered the most accurate recreation of the sinking.

I do plan to recreate the video in the future; however, the priority now is to create new videos on sinkings I have never done before, as well as ones that have not been done in a long time and need updating! I plan to release a video in late October as well as in late November. Can you guess what they are? Thank you so much again!

On August 31st, 1986, the Soviet cruise liner Admiral Nakhimov was struck by the freight ship Pyotr Vasev in the Black Sea. She sank in just 7 minutes.

To commemorate this 40th anniversary, I have recreated the sinking in real time, with stunning visuals in Unreal Engine 5. This animation recreates the collision and sinking of the Admiral Nakhimov 40 years later. Watch the video now on the channel!

On August 4, 1991, the Greek cruise liner Oceanos sank in the Indian Ocean off the coast of South Africa in 19 hours. Several key senior officers and staff abandoned the ship early with hundreds of passengers still on board. The entertainment staff went above and beyond to ensure all passengers were safely rescued by South African authorities.This animation recreates the sinking of the Oceanos 35 years later. I want to thank you all so much for the positive reaction to my latest video: The sinking of the Andrea Doria | Animated 70 Years Later. The video has done a first on the channel, surpassing 100,000 in less than 55 hours! I've never had a video on my channel gain this many views in such a short amount of time. That is a record for my channel and my videos, and I am so grateful for it. The success of the video has deeply motivated me to want to create more videos like this. Hi everyone.

Tomorrow is the 70th anniversary of a tragic sinking which took place. To commemorate this tragedy I will be releasing my first ever sinking animation powered by Unreal Engine 5. I learned so many new things when making this video and I still have a lot more to learn. But I’m very proud of how it turned out.

I would really appreciate it if you would all join me here tomorrow for the videos release. Your feedback will be invaluable with animations going forward. I’m particularly looking at those of you who already use Unreal Engine and blender. I will leave you with this image. See you all tomorrow
