Hey y'all I thought I'd give a little update, you deserve it for all the kindness you've shown me.
First of all I want to once again thank everyone who donated to the charity stream. The ongoing genocide is still in full effect. There's not much we can do as a people other than let our voices be heard. You can try to find peaceful protests near you or especially if you're american, contact your local governer or whatever the local head of lawmaking is called and urge them to make an effort to cut political ties with Isreal.
It's been very hard for me to make content in the recent months. Due to school and personal relationships taking priority and my home life not being the most fostering environment we can call it I struggle to find motivation. Sometimes I forget that people actually want more videos, like I've gaslit myself into beliving they're no good and somehow 2.000 people just lied?? Idk self depricating brain makes a lot of logical leaps sometimes.
As for the future we can start with one thing. I'm officially canceling the production of Fist Only. I'll maybe go over the various scripts, my method for beating the beast and showing off the 10 or so minutes that are finished in a future stream, but I'm making it official that it's never releasing. It's technically been "cancelled" for like a year and a half but I couldn't let go of it because I felt like that meant I'm no good as a storyteller or video maker, which of course isn't the case. Fist Only is a great example of scope creep as it's called. I started out wanting to make a simple end to a trilogy of videos and ended up with a costume, full scripts with skits, logos, an arg, plans for a marketing campaign and much more. Fist Only has been holding me back for years and I hope by letting it go I can move on because I've grown and changed as a person so much. I just recently finished a mini documentary for a school project and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I still love making movies and telling stories, there's just not been as much room in my life for that as usual.
In the near future I only have one stream planned. For when Multiversus releases I'll be redoing the Multiversus Nuzlocke with @claods (who btw just released a great video about how Multiversus died off and how it's trying to make a comeback, y'all should watch it just click the little @claods tag). If that stream goes well then I'll try to make a video out of it but that's a BIG undertaking, last nuzlocke was like a 6 hour stream lmao. So we'll see what happens with that, but that's the only actual content I've got planned.
ADVR multiplayer is releasing soon and I have ideas, or had, atleast. I've given up on doing most of the ideas due to them being in my head for so long I overthink it and think it's terrible. Maybe the hype of multiplayer will drag me in for a video or two but I can't promise anything.
I wish I could do more small chill streams playing a bunch of fun games or telling stories. But I get depressed whenever I used to do them due to some not so nice feedback I get at home. It's enough to take the beradement of being lazy for playing videogames, I don't need the extra beradement that this whole YouTube thing is a big waste of my life as well. When I move out, which is hopefully within the next two years for I cannot take living at home anymore, I'll give content creation another big push (also by then I want to do a whole rework of how the channel looks because this is AWFUL, despise the pfp, despise the banner. I wanna change it so bad but idk to what lol).
In the meantime I'm still living my life. Every day I'm learning more about myself and I'm happier for it. I still make stuff, right now mostly stuff for school or silly little things for myself that I don't share. I'm surrounded by (mostly) wonderful and supporting people who make life worth living and absolutely thriving when I'm around them. So I'm in a good headspace for life, not so much for content. I hope y'all are doing good as well with whatever life is throwing at you.

Usually i make a little video going over how the previous year went, which goals i achived and which i didn't. Then ending the video by setting new goals for myself the following year. I planned too do so today as well but I didn't get around too it as I've been in a little slump the past few days. That doesn't matter as I don't have that much too say (lie) so I'll say it in a short (lie) message instead.
My goals for 2023 we're the following:
Reach 2250 subscribers
Reach 150k total views
Do 50 total livestreams
Do some sort of Minecraft VR video
Release Fist Only by the end of the first quarter of the year
These we're very ambitious goals. Maybe, no definitely, too ambitious.
We're 300 subs short.
7 livestreams short.
No Minecraft VR video was made.
Fist Only, not only didn't release within those 3 months but remains unreleased.
Then the one goal we did hit was the views, surpassed it by 15K as well.
However looking at the numbers is the wrong approach, that's what I think i learned from this year. I've stumbled and fell but it was a necessary fall. I fully quit making shit for half the year and STILL we got within just a hair of reaching all the goals (stats wise). That should hopefully put it into some perspective as too why I'm so positive.
Coming from this as me and not Froodle for a second, I'm super proud of myself. I executed high concept content, delved head first into an ENTIRE GENRE of content that I've never seriously tried, nor consumed so much off. Yet still you all enjoyed it, which at the end of the day is what's important here. I've been going through/doing A LOT this year, especially in the latter half. Mentally I'm in a better place than I've ever been and I think it's time too make a shift in how I approach content creation.

Just,
Make.
Stuff.
For so long I've been held back by my own thoughts about the content. Every time i get even slightly more ambitous I overanalyse every detail, worry about how it'll be recieved and it spirals downwards and downwards until all my work is destroyed by my own two hands. So many times, some of them deserved to never see the light of day but there are others that I'm sad i let slip by. It's about damn time i let myself fuck around and find out. I just wanna make something other than White Guy Let's Plays™️ for once mannnn. It'll be experimental, a lot of it probably not completely refined but that's okay. I'll also try to explore other medias than videos this year, mainly just putting a bit more focus on learning game dev. OH another thing i feel is important too mention. My ass got NO TIME FOR NOTHING. School is going to pick up the pace real soon and I've just entered a serious romantic relationship that I'd like to spend a lot of time fostering. So yeah, this year I'm just going to make stuff. There will be white guy let's plays™️, there will be one off experiments, there will be streams where i do nothing but chill for 3 hours and what I'm most excited about, the videos that have been living in my head for LITERAL YEARS THAT I WANT YOU TOO SEE. I'M COOKING OKAY AND IT'LL TAKE A LONG TIME TO LEARN HOW TO OPPERATE THE PAN WITHOUT SPILLING IT ALL EVERY TIME BUT I'M MAKING AN EFFORT !!!!!
That's it, insane i still have a platform, even though it's teeny tiny. Appreciate y'all for dealing with my bs and have a good one o7 (I swear I'll have an o7 emote this year trust i know how i want too make it it'll just take a god damn while)
