Here’s the plans for the chassis, the 430mm length was extended to 520mm. The whole thing can be made from 19mm ERW tube 1.2-1.6mm wall thickness.

Soo close now, the gaskets are in and the clutch cover is mounted. Now I just need to make the gaskets for the lower cylinder, sort an intake manifold for the vertical cylinder, make some 0.6mm shims for the gearbox shafts and make a temporary loom.

This top quality part will be used to tension the cam chain. Well that’s the plan, it should only be about a week away.

Hmmmmm . . . Still trying to figure this out. There’s plenty of difficult ways to achieve chain tension in the space provided. What I’m trying to figure out is an easy way that requires few parts and and looks well thought out. Maybe it will come to me or maybe some of you might have some ideas I haven’t thought of.
