Over the past two years I’ve really gotten back into running. I realized how much I’ve missed this sport. Achilles has really helped me get back into a team atmosphere and I’ve loved every minute of it. I enjoy supporting the other athletes and building friendships with them. The guides are amazing as well. I never knew how much I needed them until a half marathon in mid 2025. I will forever be grateful for this organization.
The amazing athletes and guides have been such an inspiration. Last year hearing about them accomplishing goals, running several marathons and who knows what. I decided to run my first marathon in November of 2025 and in February 2026 I ran my second. I know it’s only a matter of time before I do my 3rd and complete all of the world major marathons.
I’m so honored that those who inspire me decided to name me athlete of the year for our chapter. Truly we have so many amazing people in our organization I feel honored. I teared up when Fai gave me this award. It means the world. I’m excited to get on a committee for the 26/27 season and help our organization grow!!!

My darling daughter made this in bible class. She said she wanted me to have it and put it on the inner handle of my bedroom. I absolutely adore her!!!!

Exciting start to our December.
Heather was playing on the play ground at recess today and ran into a pole. She ended up with a concussion but no brain bleed thank the lord.
Whiskey went for a bath but wouldn’t sit still for a nail trim.
Everyone is home and relaxing now.
