Where to stay in Tokyo? Those who follow the channel know I recently visited Japan for a cruise on Celebrity Millennium, a brief stop at Tokyo Disney and 5 days in Tokyo. I don't think I've laboured a hotel choice more than I have for Tokyo. Luxury, location, price, not an easy balance to strike but I think Hotel Toranomon Hills was it! And it's got amaziong Tokyo Tower views. Take a look at the full review I just posted!

I recently flew 14 hours to Tokyo in Air Canada's Signature Class on a Boeing 777-300ER.
My honest take? It sits somewhere between business and first class — not quite first, but clearly a step above standard business.
Here's what surprised me most:
🛏️ The lie-flat seat with a mattress topper actually made sleeping on a plane... comfortable?
🍽️ The lamb shank dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had in the air
🧴 Aqua di Parma amenity kit, on-demand snacks, the whole experience felt more premium than I expected

Shortly before embarking on Celebrity Millennium for my Japan cruise, I stayed at DisneySea's Hotel MiraCosta. Built right inside the park, it's really tough to beat in terms of ride proximity. That said, it's a Deluxe Disney Hotel with a hefty price tag, but is it 5-star? In my latest video, I give you a full tour and my honest opinion, as always.
