There are three time where a meridian in the pelvis - the “sacral” might appear to be dysfunctional and overactive when it’s actually a very normal time in women.

If you’ve ever been doing chakra balancing or work on this specific meridian these are the three “normal abnormalities”

1. When a woman is pregnant her hormones are actively creating new life form within the womb. Before knowing they are pregnant it’s not uncommon to stumble on this high pace energy in the chakra which will not and cannot calm down - for it is the process of creating something.

2. During puberty similar pattern can appear here also, the energy within the centre has a fast pace due to that activation, and will calm down eventually. Grounding through it is useful so using crystals that help to earth emotions may be beneficial for the youth.

3. At perimenopause the changing rhythms of hormones will ultimately cause the sacral to go over active and under active. While it cannot be stopped because a normal transition is occurring sometimes it helps to cleanse and clear during the under active times where the hormones under produce and thus the energy. And specifically work on the meridian of the third eye/energy in the pituitary/pineal glands.

During these three major transformations in a biological process our sacral has a different effect in the meridian.

While some are fast (such as the creation of a life form) and others may splutter energetically (like at the pubescent time of heightened surges) it is considered “normal.”

Generally our chakras are free flowing and spin and a nice even pace. Our bodies can certainly tip overboard during these times in which case we can aid the energy back into a more relative baseline.

In any other case these energy flows might not be a normal physiological change, so handy or not handy to know 🙂

Over the years I’ve shared energy work / teaching to others in the family but one person in particular got my nerves because I never had the right time and place to fully teach …

That person is my mother, Mihi.

Mums always fascinated me with her energy - she has incredibly strong mahi wairua (spiritual healing) especially when her hands are laid to touch.

Over the years she always forgot to ground, protect and let go of others energies. Finally, we have the time to connect what we’ve wanted to do together for a fair few years.

And mum is getting the teaching her energy has needed to deepen, widen, and strengthen.

The part that cracked me up?

Was seeing so much potential and knowing everything in life is about timing. A couple of classes into chakra healing/ balancing classes and tonight I saw her conjure immediately on watching a video from my app on the violet flame sacred space.

I started laughing - didn’t say anything until after we watched the video together. And then said “hey, did you just visualise the violet light?”

She looks at me and says excitedly “yes, I did! Why?”

Here’s Eve in shock and laughing because I saw the light she created - the room went into a strong violet moving energy. And that little old voice in the background for me saying “yes! It’s time, we can harness your energies.” She amazes me, but then, many people often do.

My own energy and physical disruptions have my health bordering between good and bad and most days the last few months the strength of that is very tentative. While I cannot energetically work at my own full capacity - it’s a pretty cool way to be when still able to offer the gift of spiritual healing and strength to others.

I laughed along and shared “the last time this happened was a good 7 years or so ago”

And went on to tell my mum how when I was doing a clearing on a dear friend she suddenly accidentally conjured her normal protection:
White flames.

I was kneeling down clearing the energy around her legs when suddenly my hands and face felt like they were burning and I could see the white around her!

Yelped and jumped back. She apologised immediately saying “oh my gosh, I’m so sorry, that was my protection.”

I do really wish the world could see the aura and energies. It’s a very fun and beautiful place. Even when you’re getting burned by people’s spiritual fires in an accident 😆

Everyone has their own rites, rituals, cycles and ways when it comes to different things. Specifically during lunar eclipses, I tend to use the lead up tuning in to my previously set intentions and goals - made during the solar or lunar eclipse when it started.

For me it’s a time to isolate more than celebrate.
My reflections and healing around the eclipse - especially that of the darkness coming forth - are an intimate time.

Rather than diving head first into spiritual work, I will almost always wait until after the eclipse has passed - so to see through clearer waters.

The thresholds of water, moon, magnetic upheavals and sky’s alignments are too distorted in my opinion to get the greatest clarity.

The time after these eclipses - when the water and stirring of energies grow calm - then I will move into manifesting and connecting with spirit on important matters.

I prefer the hermit time. Sitting with very little, but letting what will, and enjoying the weirdness of it all. Slight chuckles as we all go humpty bump before - and a final breath for the exhale on the other side.

This is my rhythm, what I do, why I do it - with the understanding and spiritual relationship I have with those energies. And the beautiful thing?
We each have our own, and we don’t need to be the same, babe xx

In the past 10 years of rapid growth and interest in the occult, awakening and spirituality I noticed a major shift in the system

The quality of seekers and students has stayed the same but the quality of teachers in spiritual practice has plummeted. IMO. How did you find a teacher if you found one for yourself? Some people stick to a book or to following a well known individual

Others go at it alone. I’m interested what you feel about the teachers out here?

When I began my own journey I met with about 4 different people. And tried a couple “communities” as well

For me - as a teen I was really looking to learn and be taught how to understand my abilities and open fully.

Three of those teachers

- withheld information and prevented growth because of ego

- were extremely ungrounded and couldn’t be relied on

- charged me through the roof when they didn’t actually fully understand what they were “going to teach me”

- one messed with “dark magic”

- one ignored physical emotional boundaries (I.e. my cousin had taken his own life and the individual got “all up in my face” excited about me talking to them ..)

In the end the one person who I felt “at home with” was a minority in the overall grand scheme

Back then … (15 years ago) there were much less over saturation in the field. I began teaching within five years of my own opening, but now - I see the quality of it and want to bring one thing to light

Connecting to different types of spirit :
When you’re first learning to open spiritual abilities your most allied tool is meditation. This helps you slow down, clear the waters, and also connect to spirit - whether that’s a guide, ancestors, angelic helper, deity or loved one.

Having a special spot to go to for “meeting” them in meditations helps. So next time you go to talk with a loved one create a sacred meeting point in your meditation that you welcome them to, over time you get a bit better at communication and no longer need meditation as your opening point.

Onwards though … to talk about clairvoyance and intuitive ability

One thing you’ll notice is that muddy water can hardly show what’s beneath the surface

Our state of spiritual abilities has a harder time coming through if our emotional state is constantly disrupted and or if our own energy is muddied by other people’s

This is why protection/shielding makes such a big difference for us.

To still the waters of our own we must also be free from the noise of others, and the noise of our own dis-harmony.

It’s hard to differentiate when we’re not in balance, with a quiet mind and quiet heart.

Things that can impact that :
- your aura being open and taking on other people’s thoughts, feelings, energy etc.
- having trauma that’s unhealed or still open like a wound : it causes cracks/leaks in the field and thus disruptive energies are at play
- not enough downtime, nor stillness in your day to day. Get some sunshine, water, fill yourself with the elements and above all mindfulness/meditation
- medications, drugs, alcohol; after some time this can prevent the free flow of nerve pathways ; consider your nervous system as a computer that picks up information within and with out. This can get bogged down by an array of things

So … what can you do to cleanse your mind? Your body? Your emotional state? And create sacredness so that you can see through clearer water and tap in to the free flow of information intuitively?
