A few weeks ago, we asked what kind of videos you'd like to see next here on All About the Duck. The response was overwhelming...Disney History won by a landslide!

So we've been hard at work, and we're excited to finally share the first episode of what we're calling The Complete History of Walt Disney World.

Our first episode answers a question that most Disney fans have never really stopped to think about: How did Walt Disney World's four parks actually come to be?

From Walt's original Florida dream...to the stories behind Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom...we're going back to the beginning to explore the history, the near misses, and the moments that almost changed Disney World forever.

We'll tell you about the park that almost had a built-in surfing lagoon. And the one Walt himself never lived to see open.

📅 Premieres Monday, August 3 at 7:00 AM Central

This series exists because of your votes, your comments, and your ideas, so thank you for helping shape the direction of our channel. Honestly, this might be the most fun we've ever had making a video — and we can't wait to hear what you think after you watch it.

We'll see you Monday morning...and as always...

See ya real soon! 🦆

So, we are heading to Disney World tomorrow for 6 days in the parks. We plan to film while we are there, eat some awesome food, and ride some great rides. We want to know — what do you think is the most overrated ride at Disney World right now? Drop your answer below. We just might settle the debate on camera. 🦆

Hey Disney family! 👋 Quick update on AllAboutTheDuck:
Starting now, we're moving to two videos a week — every Monday and Friday at 7:00 AM.

We've been doing three a week, and two focused, high-quality videos beats three rushed ones every time — and you deserve better than rushed.

Same honest Disney content. Same real talk. Just a little more care put into each one.

Monday and Friday. 7 AM. Set that bell and we'll see you there. 🏰🐭

We just got back from an amazing trip to Walt Disney World—and we’ve got a LOT to share! 🌴✨

In early April, we stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and we spent our time filming some really fun and helpful videos for you.

Over the next six weeks, we’ll be dropping a brand new video every Thursday—from resort tours and food to tips and experiences you won’t want to miss.

Trust us… you’re going to want to follow along for this series.

Which one are you more excited to see first—Pop Century or the Polynesian? 👇

Today we’re starting something special on the channel.

For the next 10 Saturdays, we’re launching a brand-new series called “Disney World Used to Do This Better.”

This isn’t about tearing Disney down. It’s not about negativity. It’s about nostalgia. It’s about remembering the details, the feelings, the little moments that made so many of us fall in love with Walt Disney World in the first place.

Each week, we’re going to take a thoughtful look back at something Disney used to do differently — sometimes better — and talk about why it mattered.

We’ll revisit:

• Attractions and experiences that felt different
• Cast Member interactions that felt more personal
• Lost features and small details that quietly disappeared
• And the overall feeling of what the parks used to be like

Episode 1 kicks things off with something subtle but powerful — how Disney World used to let you discover things. How wandering mattered. How surprise mattered. How slowing down wasn’t “doing Disney wrong.”

If you’ve been going for years, this series will probably hit home.
If you’re newer to Disney, it’ll give you perspective on why longtime fans talk about “old Disney” the way they do.

We’ll drop a new episode every Saturday for the next 10 weeks.

If this sounds like the Disney World you remember — or the Disney World you’re curious about — we’d love for you to join us for the entire journey.

And I want to hear from you right now:

What is something Disney World used to do better that you miss the most?

A ride.
A detail.
A feeling.

Drop it below. Your comment might even shape a future episode.

See ya real soon.

Found an old Photo Album with Disney Pictures for the late 90's. Most of these areas are totally gone now. Had to post these.
