Mogadishu, 24 January 2026 – Accord University, in partnership with the United Nations Association of Somalia, observed the International Day of Education 2026 with a special lecture for its students.


The lecture was delivered by Ambassador Jamal Ahmed Ibrahim, a distinguished expert in international affairs. Amb. Ibrahim, the former Head of Mission of IGAD to Somalia and a current Governing Council member of UNASOMALIA, addressed the global significance of the day.


This event underscores Accord University's dedication to fostering global citizenship and advancing the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
