Welcome to my channel! I share a variety of content including adventures, boat life, boat tours, car maintenance, car camping, interviews, personal finance, product reviews, and sustainable alternative living. The content shifts throughout the year depending on the season, weather, and current projects. My sailing boat and 2009 car are regular features—boat life offers a unique lifestyle, and my older car often needs repairs as I work toward saving for a van to join the van life.
My Goals:
I would like to grow this channel and set sail for seasonal cruising. The plan is to leave the boat in a marina abroad during the off-season, fly back, and embark on van life road trips. Long-term, I aim to leave the UK and establish a semi-off-grid homestead—something like a tiny home setup.
I'll film boat tour videos when I can, This does depend on the participation of others. I also help care for my parents. I'm working on sustainability projects to help them cut ongoing cost like solar system

Considering the wild price of diesel at the moment. I use amzn.to/4veLY0o Liqui Moly system cleaner. I've been using it for a while on my 2009 CdTi insignia which drives like new and has 165k miles on it. Improves fuel efficiency just throw it into a full tank of fuel and let it do its thing #liqimoly for reference diesel is £1.83 a litre in the UK which is a little over $9 a gallon.

Hey fellow Nomads. I'm looking at the all in one power stations for my parents house to help them keep their cost down. If your a frequent viewer you will see my Bluetti 2000wh power station. It has worked well for portable power. But I'm looking for the next size up a 3000wh version. Do you have one and if so which do you recommend? Mainly to use washing machine and make it easier to cook with.

amzn.to/41wnJgn This week we're at an lovely Airbnb om the west coast of Wales (UK) In a nut shell my sister and husband pay for the bnb, my parents buy the food and I do all the driving. With fuel prices at £1.85 a litre which is about $9.50 a gallon for my US friends. I throw in Liqui Moly system cleaner helps with keeping my 17 year old 165k miles car going strong and helps with the mpg.
Great stuff! Screenshot is of my Amazon account as proof of purchase and a few pictures of the airbnb.

Out of curiosity how much are you paying for diesel at the moment? I walked past a station earlier which was £1.79 which works out as $8.61 per US gallon! I currently have a full tank of fuel but have a road trip next week.

With the wild ride in energy markets paired with people asking about my "off grid set up" from one of my latest videos surrounding the diesel heater. I thought I would share my off grid set up which cost around £1k. Currently we're making around 3kw of power via the solar on my 2kw all in one power station. You can use them as they charge. Today we cooked breakfast, made lots of coffee on the sage barista pro coffee machine, then cooked dinner. The sun has gone down but we still have enough for a nice long gaming session using that stored power!

975k Views! Amazing thanks for watchin.
Last 3 video's incase you missed.
1. Oil change on Insignia with stuck sump plug.
2. Testing out Diesel heater.
3. Upcoming boat projects.
The video I’m currently creating focuses on an “Off-grid system for £1000.” It combines a diesel heater, an all-in-one power station, and three 450W solar panels. Initially, I never planned to have even a semi-off-grid setup at home, but after filming the diesel heater review, I had some questions. Since I’m eager to live as off-grid as possible, I’ll be sharing my real-world experience. For instance, I started with the power station intended for the boat, which I also use for my car and at home. I had read that a 400W solar panel could generate between 1.6 to 2.4 kWh per day, meaning theoretically, my power station could be charged by just one panel. However, as you can see, I have three panels—and there’s a reason for that. Which ill explain on the next video.

One of my most recent videos was about the diesel heater. I had a few questions about "The Offgrid" set up I have here as theres the all in one power station and solar in the image along with the heater. I'll put together a video answering some of the questions that I have. But feel free to ask here so I don't miss anything.

I usually service my car in March and then September. The March service tends to be a full service and the September one is an oil change. I do this as it's a 6 month gap along with the weather changes with spring and autumn/fall. #Insignia #howto #diy

I don't always film my adventures but here is my car camping set up. I like the stealth set up and use my car daily and often with people. Spring is a good time to go due to it not being too cold or too hot. I do want to buy a van and this year I'm really hoping that work will pick up a lot more so I can aggressively start saving! #CarCamping #StealthCar #VanLife
