Welcome to my channel! I share a variety of content including adventures, boat life, boat tours, car maintenance, car camping, interviews, personal finance, product reviews, and sustainable alternative living. The content shifts throughout the year depending on the season, weather, and current projects. My sailing boat and 2009 car are regular features—boat life offers a unique lifestyle, and my older car often needs repairs as I work toward saving for a van to join the van life.

My Goals:
I would like to grow this channel and set sail for seasonal cruising. The plan is to leave the boat in a marina abroad during the off-season, fly back, and embark on van life road trips. Long-term, I aim to leave the UK and establish a semi-off-grid homestead—something like a tiny home setup.

I'll film boat tour videos when I can, This does depend on the participation of others. I also help care for my parents. I'm working on sustainability projects to help them cut ongoing cost like solar system

Tower of power. It arrived! Testing out the all in one powerstation by Aferiy. It's a present for my parents trying to help with their energy bills. The other powerstation on top is my older Bluetti which has been good but can't do things like the kettle, iron or washing machine. The new one can plus has double the capacity and can accept more solar. Ill be making a video about it. Feel free to ask questions

It's on it's way! #Aferiy P310. It's an all in one power station which is an upgrade from my Bluetti 2000wh power station. This one can handle larger loads such as the washing machine and has pretty much double the capacity of my old one and increased solar input. The aim is to help my parents shave off some of their energy cost. By the very least charge over night on the off peak and use that energy in the day. We do have a solar set up too, but you do need sunlight not just day light. I'll be making a review of the power station when it arrives. It has some good reviews already so I'm hoping it works well! - amzn.to/3Or23PZ for reference it set me back £1,233.98 from Amazon but these things have yo yo pricing. I may also build an outdoor seating area with the raised panels.

As my car is a common theme on my channel, I do get people ask me about my roof box. I have had it for 3 years and it's been great. amzn.to/47XLG41 Thule Ocean 80 it's 320ltr I was making a review video on it but just had to pause as it started raining! If you have any questions about it let me know as I'm half way through filming it. Very happy with it.

As for an overall update, we're back from holiday. I'm waiting on deliveries for the all in one power station I got for my parents to help them cut their energy bill. I am waiting on the solar panel I ordered for the boat along with ducting for the diesel heater to arrive. They want me to help with some landscaping projects, Plus I only have 2 days work booked in this month...... hopefully more comes in soon! The lack of work over the past few months is really becoming a problem!

amzn.to/4smp9oS - I placed an order for the power station a few days ago. It’s actually intended for my parents to help reduce their energy costs. Since they’re on a fixed income, the plan is to charge it overnight during off-peak hours throughout the year and then use that stored power during the day. We also have solar panels installed in the back, and I’m considering adding another panel to the system. —I’m really excited for it to arrive! The capacity is close to 4kw for reference average daily usage is around 7.5 kWh for many households. My aim is to help cut their cost long term. It can run the washing machine, iron and kettle which is an upgrade to my current Bluetti 2000wh station. It can also handle 2000w of solar input where my older power station was capped ay 700w. The solar I currently have is around 1350w if we call it 800w it would take 5 hours to charge.

Considering the wild price of diesel at the moment. I use amzn.to/4veLY0o Liqui Moly system cleaner. I've been using it for a while on my 2009 CdTi insignia which drives like new and has 165k miles on it. Improves fuel efficiency just throw it into a full tank of fuel and let it do its thing #liqimoly for reference diesel is £1.83 a litre in the UK which is a little over $9 a gallon.

Hey fellow Nomads. I'm looking at the all in one power stations for my parents house to help them keep their cost down. If your a frequent viewer you will see my Bluetti 2000wh power station. It has worked well for portable power. But I'm looking for the next size up a 3000wh version. Do you have one and if so which do you recommend? Mainly to use washing machine and make it easier to cook with.

amzn.to/41wnJgn This week we're at an lovely Airbnb om the west coast of Wales (UK) In a nut shell my sister and husband pay for the bnb, my parents buy the food and I do all the driving. With fuel prices at £1.85 a litre which is about $9.50 a gallon for my US friends. I throw in Liqui Moly system cleaner helps with keeping my 17 year old 165k miles car going strong and helps with the mpg.
Great stuff! Screenshot is of my Amazon account as proof of purchase and a few pictures of the airbnb.

Out of curiosity how much are you paying for diesel at the moment? I walked past a station earlier which was £1.79 which works out as $8.61 per US gallon! I currently have a full tank of fuel but have a road trip next week.
