Hi there! On this channel I am trying to make programming make sense, both by sharing the lessons I've learned with fellow developers, and by translating programming concepts for normal people. And sharing some life behind the scenes, of course.

It's been a while before I did something that felt scary. But here we go - first edition of the newsletter is out! You can check it out at lifemeetscode.substack.com/p/ai-being-useful-notes…
The scary part was surprisingly the fact that it was send to an email. It feels like invading a personal space a little bit. Despite the fact that people have subscribed to it on their own, an email still feels way more personal that any part of social media, even DMs. Also, maybe because I cannot edit it afterwards?
Anyway, it's out there, and I feel like a happy child making with their own newspaper out of parents' magazines and cardboard. And I am so thankful for people who subscribe and trust me to figure it out over time how to do it well. In the world of truly great publications and media companies, it feels kind of unreal.

I guess my next video will be featuring... a cat, because he insisted he needed to be in the video. To be fair, I was going over engineering practices that can help small dev teams/solo builders, and a cat is definitely the best solution.

It was bad enough to make a video about a developer trying to vibe code, but no, I had to do part 2. It is coming out tomorrow, and don't get confused by the beginning of it - it gets real bad real fast.
I don't know how you guys are watching it, I was facepalming left right and center even while editing.
While part 2 is uploading, sharing the link to part 1, because the original is always better, right? (spoiler: no, it's equally terrifying)
