गणतंत्र दिवस परेड 2026 में शिक्षा मंत्रालय की झांकी को केंद्रीय मंत्रालयों/विभागों की ‘लोकप्रिय पसंद’ श्रेणी में सर्वश्रेष्ठ झांकी पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ है।

इस झांकी का विषय है, “राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 द्वारा भारतीय स्कूल शिक्षा का विकसित भारत की ओर गतिवर्धन”। झांकी भारत की प्राचीन ज्ञान परंपरा से लेकर आधुनिक डिजिटल युग तक की यात्रा को प्रभावशाली रूप में प्रस्तुत करती है। पीएम श्री विद्यालय के गौरवपूर्ण स्तंभ के तले भविष्य के लिए तैयार शिक्षार्थियों और भारत की शाश्वत बौद्धिक विरासत का सुंदर चित्रण इसमें देखने को मिलता है।

The Ministry of Education’s tableau at the Republic Day Parade 2026 has won the Best Tableau award among Central Ministries/Departments in the ‘Popular Choice’ category.

The theme of the tableau was “National Education Policy 2020: Rocketing Indian School Education on the Path to Viksit Bharat.” Tracing the journey from “ancient roots” to “digital wings,” the tableau beautifully showcased India’s timeless knowledge heritage and the future-ready learners under the proud arch of a PM SHRI School.

As part of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026, schools across the country organised Swadeshi Sankalp Daud on 12th January to observe National Youth Day. The student run/walk, conducted in 2 km/ 3 km or 5 km formats aimed to instil the spirit of Swadeshi, self-reliance and youth-led nation building, in alignment with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda ji.

This initiative underscores the importance of physical fitness, while familiarising students with the concept of #Swadeshi through the Special Module developed by NCERT, available digitally for educational activities. Participants were encouraged to take the Swadeshi Sankalp (Pledge) prior to the run, reaffirming their commitment to #ViksitBharat.

As part of Skill Education, schools across Haryana organised 10 Bagless Days to promote hands-on and activity-based learning.

Through diverse activities, students explored learning related to life forms, machines and materials and human services, as envisaged in NCF–SE and aligned with #NEP2020.

Aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, skill education introduces students to diverse skill domains through the 10 Bagless Days activities for Classes VI to VIII with hands-on and activity-based learning. Students of Classes IX to XII are exposed to the world of work through practical activities in well-equipped Skill Labs, interaction with industry experts, industry visits and internships.
