Amorphous Audio

Hello channel; I am not dead. I've been away from this particular hobby and channel for a while now, as I have been pursuing other things. This channel is extremely niche and really just meant to help anyone that happens to have some very specific pieces of audio gear. I don't consider myself a Youtuber, nor do I care much about subscriber counts or analytics. But at some point this channel crossed 1000 subscribers, unlocking this useful community post feature. I don't really know why anyone would subscribe to a channel like this, but I appreciate it for that reason nonetheless. I do have ideas for more general, informational videos that might have a wider audience, but who knows if that will ever happen.

There are a couple of projects that have been "in the can" for years now, but they didn't make it through editing due to some lost footage. One of them is a total loss: there isn't enough surviving footage to put together a useful video for the BX-100. The other just needs a re-shoot of the ending, but that never happened because the deck has been working flawlessly.

I'm calling that out because one thing that doesn't come across here (nor anywhere in social media) is that sometimes things don't actually work out! A few of my decks are back in the "to-do" pile, in need of some follow-up work. That's just how it goes with vintage gear. I may shoot a redux video for any that prove interesting. But the trusty old Sanyo with its highly-mediocre specs works perfectly. I do want to get that video out because this deck holds a special place in my heart...
