hey all! I know it's been a while - this isn't a youtube-based update, nothing has changed since my 'thank you' video if that's all you're here for :)

for those who are interested, some of you may remember that a while ago (over a year ago now!) I mentioned a costa rica trip in a few of my videos. this was something that I was fundraising for, as the aim of the trip is to complete project work for local communities such as reforestation, building schools/other infrastructure and general maintenance to improve the area. many members of this community were INCREDIBLY generous, donating both through a gofundme and youtube superchat - with this in mind, I thought it only fair to provide an update!

I've been in costa rica for the last week, and so far we've worked on 5 different projects, including fitting a water system for a school, digging out new pathways, creating a playground virtually from scratch and more. there's also been a lot of cool bugs and flowers haha
for the sake of both my own privacy and the others from my college, I won't post any pictures of project work, but here's some cool photos I took of other stuff

again, thank you all so much for making this happen! even if you didn't donate, just the act of watching my videos over the years contributed to much of the funds for this trip, so thank you :)

Hey all.
Today, the DT10 Discord server shut down after almost 4 and a half years. The server has been the beating heart of my community for so long, and I'm truly sad to see it go - but with me no longer planning on posting any further videos, it felt fitting to give it a meaningful send off. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this incredible community over the years, especially to my past and present discord staff, as well as the previous SMP and Twitch staff. You are all the reason this journey was possible, and it truly does mean a lot to me.

Honestly this is a crazy milestone, one of those that's a bit impossible to comprehend. was definitely a goal of mine from the start - awesome to reach it all these years later :)

I've realised that those not in my discord server might be a bit confused, so I thought I'd make a quick post here:
I imagine some of you are waiting for TARDIS contest results. I'm currently on holiday, and will be until half way through August - we managed to finish the judging process before I went away, but the video is still far from being done. Hopefully it'll be released towards the end of August, but in the meantime I posted the world download for the contest a few weeks ago in my discord, so make sure to check that out!
