Did a Q&A about the Croatia trip over on my Instagram yesterday and wanted to repost the answers here! As a reminder, here’s the main trip page where you’ll find all the important details like the dates, the cost, the itinerary, and more. Please read it all over and soak in all of the information before making decisions about booking this trip! Once you’ve done that, here are some more answers to commonly asked questions!!

As a reminder, the trip launches on August 29th at 12PM EST and my top tier Patreon subscribers get early access at 11AM EST! ONE WEEK AWAY FROM LAUNCH!!! EEEK!!

⭐ Do you have to be within a certain age range to come? 〰️ You have to be 18+ to come on these trips! On previous trips, most travelers have ranged from early 20s to mid 30s but as long as you’re over the age of 18, you’re welcome to come!

⭐ Will the group dinners have vegetarian/shellfish free options? 〰️ Yup! Any dietary restrictions or allergies will bet taken note of and taken care of! No problem there!

⭐ How does the rooming situation work? 〰️ Roommate assignments go out closer to the start of the trip, you’ll be paired with someone via a survey we send out but if you’d rather room solo, you can also request a solo room for an additional fee! I’ve witnessed several soulmate friend pairings come out of these roommate arrangements so trust there is magic happening somewhere within that survey lol

⭐ For the top tier Patreon subs, how does early sign up work? 〰️ For top tier patrons, I’ll post out a special early bird link 1 hour before the general sale so just take a peak at the Patreon at 11AM EST on the 29th! This is the first year the Patreon has existed so not sure what to expect here in terms of demand! It’s possible the trip could sell out during the Patreon pre-sale, I really don’t know!

⭐ Is there a waitlist if you don’t get a spot initially? 〰️ Yes! And I highly encourage you to join it if you don’t snag one of the initial 24 spots! Every year, there’s been a handful of people that have gotten off the waitlist and onto the trip so don’t lose hope! Join the waitlist!

⭐ Would a non-binary person feel accepted? I’m not quite a lover girl but def a lover!! 〰️ Absolutely! Everyone is welcome on these trips regardless of gender identity. Lovers of all kind are invited :)

⭐ How many activities could I not really participate in if I don’t drink alcohol? Are there alternatives? 〰️ Take a look at the trip page to see all of what we have planned– the wine tasting is really the only thing that centers around alcohol and it’s totally not a problem if you want to opt out of it. Obviously, people will be drinking at our dinners so make note that you will be around it but there’s absolutely zero pressure to drink if you don’t want to. There’s been plenty of travelers in the past that have opted out of drinking and if anyone ever needed a buddy, I would happily opt out of drinking and sip a Diet Coke in utter bliss with you lol

⭐ Will there be a payment plan or will we have to pay the whole amount at once? 〰️ You have to pay 25% as the down payment to secure your spot on the trip, the remaining 75% just has to be paid by 90 days pre-trip so you have time to space out your payments over the course of the year. IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE familiarize yourself with the refund policy. Once the trip is confirmed (aka we’ve reached the minimum number of travelers which WILL happen on launch day if I’m going off of previous trips), the 25% down payment can NOT be refunded but can be put towards a future trip. Any payments beyond the 25% can be refunded but PLEASE, PROTECT YOUR COIN! Only reserve a spot if you’re confident you can come! Obviously things come up surprisingly sometimes but I just wanna make sure you’re all making informed decisions and not impulsive ones. Do not reserve a spot on the trip thinking you can just get a full refund if you decide you can’t make it later on, that will not happen.

⭐ Do we chat with everyone before the trip??? Like is there a group chat or something? 〰️ Yes! I make it closer to the start of the trip, usually around march-ish (so still a few months in advance since our trip is in June lol)

what? a week in greece eating delicious food, swimming, drinking wine, and making lifelong friendships from other lover gxrls across the globe!
who? me and you, members of lover gxrls worldwide! anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome to join these trips.
how much? $3,399 regular and $3,249 early bird! the price includes our lodging, local guide, transfers between cities, all of our planned activities and excursions, and a bunch of our meals!

do you have to be a certain age to join? you must be 18+ to come on this trip! previous trips have attracted ages ranging from early 20s to mid 30s but as long as you’re 18+, you’re welcome to come along!

what kind of activities do we have planned? a museum visit, some historical stops, a waterfall, walking tours, a jeep safari, a wine tour, and a boat trip! all of the excursion info is listed in greater detail on the main trip itinerary page! we’ll also have plenty of down time to relax, explore, and indulge in crete however we'd like! usually on these trips, during unscheduled time, people will throw what they're planning on doing into our group chat so people can find others to tag along and you can hang with others also on your wavelength. so if you're more of a relaxer (like me), you'll know who's planning to hit the pool for the afternoon or if you're an adventurer, you can link up with other travelers looking to explore!

do most people come alone? yes! 99% of travelers come on these trips not knowing a single other person. everyone is there to make new friends so don’t be afraid to come solo. my focus while we're on the trip is making sure everyone's settling in and getting plenty of opportunities to connect. i really care about making sure everyone feels valued and included on these trips so i can promise you, i’ve got your back!

is there a monthly payment system? yes! you have to pay 25% as the down payment to secure your spot on the trip, the remaining 75% just has to be paid by 90 days pre-trip so you have time to space out your payments over the course of the year. please familiarize yourself with the trovatrip refund policy before signing up for the trip. my previous trips have all confirmed on the same day they launched and i wanna make sure you’re protecting your coin and only signing up if you’re confident you can make it! i wanna make sure you’re making an educated decision and not an impulsive one.

how does the roommate situation work? roommate assignments go out closer to the start of the trip, you'll be paired with someone via a survey we send out but if you'd rather room solo, you can also request a solo room for an additional fee.

are dietary restrictions possible? yes! any dietary restrictions or allergies will be taken note of and taken care of! no problems there!

is there a waitlist if you don’t get tickets? yes! and you should add yourself to it if you miss out on the initial spots! every year, i have had a few spots open up and i've been able to contact people off the waitlist. the earlier you get on the waitlist, the more likely i'll be able to get you a spot if one opens up later on!

will there be other trips in the future? possibly! i’m not making any promises but i’ve really enjoyed running these trips in the past and would love to do more! for now, my focus is just on the crete trip.

SPAIN TRIP Q&A! We did a Q&A over on my IG yesterday for the Spain trip that's about to launch so I'm reposting all the answers here as well!

🗓️ WHEN? June 11-17, 2024
🇪🇸 WHERE? Ibiza and Mallorca, Spain
👯‍♀️ WHO? Me, my best friend Ashley, our experienced local tour guide, and 24 of you guys eager to build new connections
🪩 WHAT? A week of exploring and eating/drinking our way through the islands including a balearic cooking course, a sunset catamaran cruise, experiencing the caves of drach, lots of beach time, a journaling workshop, and so much more!
💲HOW MUCH? The first 8 people to sign up will get a discount making it $3,150 and everyone else will pay the standard price which is $3,275. This price DOES NOT include flights but does include lodging, activities, some meals, airport transfers, and the ferry from Mallorca to Ibiza! You can find the full list of inclusions/exclusions on the main trip page linked above.

✨ Is there a minimum (or maximum) age limit? You have to be 18+ to come! Otherwise, everyone is welcome. This year, most people that came were mid 20s–mid 30s which checks out for my demographic lol but everyone is welcome!

✨ How much are the payment installments? The downpayment to secure your spot is 25% of the entire trip cost and the rest of the payments are due by 90 days pre-trip so how much you pay/when you pay it is totally up to you as long as it's paid in full by the 90 day mark.

✨ I can't afford to join this year but would you ever consider doing a meet up in NYC? Absolutely! These trips are definitely a pricier/more unique experience lol but I would love to find more ways to connect with you guys face to face bc obviously, on top of the fact that there's only 24 spots, it's also not gonna be within budget for everyone! I've got so many dreams of events I wanna do someday! Like I'd really love to do a live podcast in New York sometime! I think it would be so much fun, someone suggested we do an Emotionally Online trivia night and that also sounded like a hoot hahahaha these are all things that I think about and would love to do in the future so if you can't join this trip, don't fret! It won't be the only opportunity to hang and make new friends, I'm always looking for more ways to bring the vibes of my videos in person for you guys :)

✨ I know Ibiza is a big party city– will that be something you would rather people not do? This is your trip!! You should do what you wanna do!!! Something I emphasized on both trips this year was how I wanted everyone to have the trip that they wanted to have so if you wanted to go out, you should go out! And if you wanna stay in, please stay in and don't feel the need to tag along for every activity if you don't want to. If you wanna party in Ibiza, DO ITTTTT!! And if you wanna have a more chill night (this will most likely be me lol), DO ITTTT!! It's your trip and I encourage everyone to step in and step out as they want.

✨ Is it an issue if you have dietary requirements? Not at all! You'll just make note of it to the TrovaTrip team and we'll prep accordingly.

✨ How fast do you think the spots will fill up? Last year, they sold out within 10 minutes of the trips launching! I have no way of knowing if this trip will be the same way (though I do know over 2,000 people have signed up for my email list) but I'd anticipate being ready at 12PM EST on 8/25 just to be safe lol! If you don't make it on, you can always join the waitlist if anyone drops off the trip and a spot opens up for some reason!

✨ Is there a refund if you join but then can't make it? The 25% downpayment is non-refundable but the remaining payments are up until 90 days pre-trip. PLEASE protect your coin though!! Don't sign up unless you know it's within budget/you'll be able to come because I don't want any of you throwing away money if it turns out you can't. That would suck!!

✨ What's the roomie situation? You'll be assigned a roommate based on a survey you'll all complete before the trip. Everyone on the Italy/Greece trips was like... what was the science on this roommate matching bc I feel like we're soulmates hahahaha so you're in good hands! You can also request a single room for an additional cost if you want!

✨ I live in Canada, can I come?! Yes! Anyone from any country is welcome to join!! This year, we had people from Australia, Luxembourg, Ireland, India, Canada and more so people are joining from all over!

✨ Is this a ladies-only trip? Nope! Everyone is welcome regardless of gender identity!

✨ As someone who has recently become an alcohol free girly, how would that affect my trip? Great q! There's never any pressure to drink if you don't want to. People will definitely be drinking alcohol at our dinners but if you would rather order a Coke, do it! I'm not a big drinker myself and although I love a glass of wine at dinner from time to time, I don't get drunk and I definitely opt to not drink plenty of nights on vacation as well! There's absolutely 0 pressure to drink if you don't want to and if anyone wanted a sober buddy, I would happily opt out of drinking to join you! But definitely worth noting that alcohol will be present and around us– it's totally your call on if you're comfortable with that.
