Enjoyer of cat thumbnails, buildcrafting, and coding out game calculators for builds and other such headaches I really shouldn't bother with but do anyways because in some form or another I am likely braindamaged.
Latest vid has one mistake I'll talk about but the rest is still correct so the vid will remain.
I'll copy paste what I just said in my discord though, and I already added this to the pinned commment of the vid as well:
"Ok so this took a fat minute to diagnose, but someone was claiming the full e1 shred from sunday still modified the additional dmg proc with all 40% instead of the 16% like I thought and I was like "surely you're on crack" but I spent a bit running through some stuff and I did actually have a bug in the calc specifically on dan and that influenced the testing.
For the peeps that care about what that was: the calc caches states on dmg instances so an example would be something like Netherwing in each breath can hit each enemy 10 times, and with a full field that's 50 hits that do NOT need to be recalculated fully each time because for most of those hits the dmg will be the exact same, so make things significantly faster in the optimizer it'll read the state of the character causing the dmg, and the state of the enemy receiving the dmg, and based on whether those states have changed it'll adjust the states for the new hit. Dan's additional dmg proc due to a mistake on my part was able to access states he shouldn't have been able to reach so even if things lined up visually it didn't actually behind the scene. Someone will probably ask "well wouldn't you have seen that if you tested it?" and yeah, but I did see it line up bc he was getting his states wrong. We lined up his additional dmg proc on stream the day he came out and even other streams before yesterday's vid.
Just fixed it on the site, making a post for yt rn to talk about it and adding bits to the pinned comment. I don't really feel compelled to remove the vid bc the premise is still sound and correct in how summons actually function, but on E1 in particular I must have been crazy fuckin tired or something when reading sunday ability configs and mixed it up with the skill's ownership condition else I would have seen that much sooner so that is my bad. I have no issue admitting the mistake on my end, though I'm not gonna apologize for it bc other CC's can still blow my ass."
