HOT TAKE: You say you hike for the journey, but all that really matters is the destination. 🥾
Let's talk about the age-old debate: Do you hike for the journey or the destination? 🤔 Some say it's all about the breathtaking views at the end, while others cherish every step along the way.
But I believe that everyone secretly only cares about the destination. Just take a mountain summit as an example. If you don’t make it to the top, can you HONESTLY say you aren’t disappointed? Probably not.
I’ll admit it - I feel a sense of failure when bail on a hike’s end destination. It sucks. 😭
And you know what? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with admitting you enjoy the destination more than the journey. That doesn't make you a better or worse hiker than someone else.
Tell me what you think down below! 👇
🌿 Do you prefer taking your time, soaking in the beauty around you, or are you all about reaching that summit? Be honest now - there's really no wrong answer. 🌄
