I’m absolutely elated to have woken up to 2 GRAMMY nominations for my collaborations with the incomparable Miley Cyrus and my dear friend Brandy Clark!

I wanna congratulate my friend and mentor Joni Mitchell (who is a gift to the world that just somehow keeps on giving) for her Best Folk Album nomination. Joni’s return to the Newport Folk Festival after 54 years was such a profound moment in music history. it’s incredibly triumphant for Joni to be recognized in the folk genre where she began her career. Joni Mitchell: At Newport is so much more than a live album - it’s a miracle… Joni is a miracle. I’m so pleased that folks at the Recording Academy recognized that and gave Joni her flowers, she deserves it for what she overcame to be there.
Happy 80th birthday rockstar!

I am so thrilled to see all the love and acknowledgment for Brandy Clark’s beautiful album. She did something incredibly brave and I am so proud that she’s getting the recognition she so clearly deserves.
It says so much about how high the stakes are for a person, when they choose to name their album after themselves decades into a career. With great risk comes great reward. It’s been an emotional day!

And an extra special congratulations to Allison Russell, who put a revolutionary record out into the world with her immensely talented Rainbow Coalition.

And even though we can’t win em all we all love your record Tanya mother Tucker! We’re in the Hall of FAME! … and we’re just getting started. I guess we’re gonna let someone else take a few home this year Tanya Tucker 🙌🏼
I’m so proud of you.
