The Kentucky Siren. Once when I was but a young lad, my buddies and I were headed to the lake. We were fishing. In the middle of fishing, we heard a voice, and I heard the voice of my mother. It was seductive, like she was calling for me. My best friend heard the voice of his girlfriend who had passed away, and his other brother heard the voice of his late sister. My sister heard a loud, miserable yell. We decided not to go, but at night, my buddy's friend got out of his tent and went out there. We never saw him again.
I went back to the lake recently, not to fish, but to find the thing that had traumatised us for years. I hadn’t heard anything, but a very beautiful woman came to me and kept asking me to follow her. I didn’t cave in. I wonder if she was the thing that had followed me was the thing that had kidnapped my friend all those years ago.
