Couple of hours later, Floridian train P041, equipped with Phase III unit 145, was leading at the former ACL Orlando Station after a five-hour delay throughout the afternoon.

On a beautiful morning, Amtrak Silver Meteor train P097 traverses the FLS Caboose. A head of noon, a trio of CSX trains highballs around the Folkston Funnel, featuring America 250th Anniversary units 2026 and 250 leading the northbound manifest from Tampa.

Railfanning in Folkston, GA | 8/14/26

A trio of CSX trains traverses the Folkston Funnel, commencing with a northbound manifest originating from Tampa. This manifest is accompanied by a Union Pacific SD70ACe engine positioned at the rear. Subsequently, two intermodal trains proceed northbound for New Jersey and southbound from near Atlanta. Lastly, a local train is visible, bound for Waycross.

The Seminole Gulf Railway’s Murder Mystery Dinner Train, with GE B40-8 engine 598 leading, arrives and departs from the Colonial Station in Fort Myers, FL for its northward journey to Punta Gorda and its southward return. This action was taken during a vacation in Marco Island, FL (a one-hour drive to the station), and it marks my first time railfanning on the Seminole Gulf Railway’s right-of-way.

“We Are The Champions”

FEC 105, led by ES44C4 engine 804 adorned by the iconic red-and-yellow “Champion” scheme, rolls through Byrd Plaza in Cocoa, FL out of Jacksonville’s Bowden Yard en route to Hialeah Yard near Miami. This could be marked as my final time seeing this paint scheme as the remaining ES44C4s will be adorned into Ferromex Blue scheme as of 2026 since the FEC’s acquisition by Grupo Mexico Transportes back in 2017.

In addition to the paint scheme, the iconic red-and-yellow livery also matches the same livery as the flag of Spain, which has been celebrated to become the 2026 FIFA World Cup champion. 🚆🇪🇸⚽️
