Only just hearing... another sad loss to the British Lovers Rock fraternity... Mr Vivian "Sugar Love" Jones - who passed over 27th October. Pioneer of the lovers rock movement - with many hits - particular in the 1990s. "Strong Love"...one of my personal favourites... alongside the beautiful duet tune "The First" sung with the late Deborahe Glasgow... Thank you for the music Mr Jones... When listeners started coming to Slim Smith's "My Conversation" track on the channel saying a film 'A Real Pain' brought them there... looked into it, and while it's good that a cover version brings people's attention to the original... the track featured on the film is by an upcoming artist - Silas Short... check it out - nice!
